摘要 语言是传递信息的重要媒介，信息作为意义的载体要准确、有效。 然而在日常交往中，人们很难使信息有效、准确地传达到受信者。甚 至在许多正常情况下，为了保证理解，人们总是给出比实际需要多的 信息，这种“超过最小需要量的信息在语言学中称为“冗余刀。冗余 现象是语言运用中的一条规律。在语言中，它常常表现为废话、重复、 罗嗦等。尽管在交际中这些现象不为人们所欢迎和提倡，但由于种种 原因，“语言还是经常利用冗余信息给出比实际需要多的信息一。 ( h a r t m a n ，1 9 7 2 ：1 8 9 ) 英语语言学家夸克( q u i r k ，1 9 6 3 ：3 0 3 ) 指出：英语的 冗余度可达5 0 。徐盛桓根据美国科学家、信息论创始人克劳德申 农( s h a n n o n ) 所提出的冗余度计算公式，计算出英语的冗余度在6 0 -
