d o m e s t i c a t i o n f o r e i g n i z a t i o ni nc - et r a n s l a t i o no fe c o n o m i c - c o m m e r c i a lp u b l i c i t y 中文摘要 在全球化贸易及中国加入w t o 的背景下，对政府和经贸企业来说，对外宣 传即成为一项极其重要的任务，以达到吸引外资，推广产品，树立企业形象的 目的。但同时，一些经贸外宣翻译资料看似忠实于原文但实未能达到宣传的目 的，究其原因，是未认识到中英文之间的语言、文化差别和外宣资料的文体特 征，从而让译文不能让目标语读者理解和接受，达不到对外宣传的目的。所以， 探索怎样处理经贸外宣资料中的语言、文化信息就显得非常重要。 长期以来，翻译一直被视为语言间的转换活动。但是，最近二十多年来， 翻译研究逐渐转向文化间的比较，当代翻译理论的一个最明显的特征就是翻译 的“文化转向 。作为翻译界长期以来争论不休的处理文化的两种不同的翻译 策略，归化和异化，各有其优缺点。归化通过降低目标语读者对外来文本的陌 生感，以达到更好地传递信息之目的的同时，不可避免地造成文化的缺失；而 异化策略在文化传播上具有归化所不可比拟的作用，更能促进文化交流和传播， 但无疑给目标语读者提供了阅读难度。 本文拟在研究现阶段外宣资料翻译所存在的问题的基础上，通过分析中英 文语言和文化的各种差异，结合经贸外宣资料的文体特征和目的，以期能够探 索出何种情况下采取归化或异化方法来处理外宣资料翻译中文化差异的各种问 题，并提出一整套归化或异化的行之有效的翻译技巧。 关键词：经贸外宣，文化转向，归化，异化 d o m e s t i c a t i o n f o r e i g n i z a t i o ni nc et r a n s l a t i o no fe c o n o m i c -
