自然释义语义学及其在昆明文化词中的运用 英语语言丈学专业 研究生：覃丽赢指导教师：余明瑶 当前语义研究中，由于研究者所持语言观不通，语义研究虽“观点众多，学 派林立”，然而“语义循环( 同义反复) 和语义模糊”仍是困扰众多研究者的一 大难题，很多语义学家为此做出各种尝试。由a n n aw i e r z b i c k a 创建的“自然 释义语义学”就是其中之一。该理论起源于“任何自然语言都可作为自己的释 义元语言”这一假设，认为在所有的自然语言中都可以找到一套语义元词，这 些词是不可再分的，最小的语义单位。它们数量有限，其作用是用来解释其它 的词语。元词在不同的语言中虽然表现形式不同，其语义却是对等的。实践证 明，运用这套语义元词及其“语义消减法”，可解决语义循环，语义模糊等问题。 此外，该理论还可运用于许多传统语义学很难解释的，诸如语义模糊的情感词， 词性“空灵”的语气词，还有各种文化内涵词等。鉴于此，本文对这一理论进 行了系统的介绍，并应用该理论对昆明方言中的五个文化词：“家乡宝”，“门 槛候”，以及三个不同调值的语气词“说t 矗3 ”进行词义分析。通过使用这套 语义元词，我们可以看到，不论是某一文化之内还是之外的人，都可以对蕴涵 在这些文化词中的词义有个清晰明了的了解；此外，通过对这些文化词的分析， 我们可以更深刻地体会到语言正是这样一种文化的载体：不同的文化词语可以 反映出当地人的性格，心理，以及交际的特点，这正是这一理论见长于其它理论 的地方。目前，自然释义语义学还在发展，在这过程中，释义元词数目的增加可 扩大其解释的范围；理论本身的目趋完善可以提高其解释的力度。作者希望能
