摘要 诗歌是传情表意的重要方式，特别是在古代，由于它特有的音韵便于记忆，在古代文学中 占有更加重要的地位。中国古诗语言高度含蓄、凝练，有着特别的美：集中体现在音美、形 美和意美三方面。如何在翻译中完美地体现这“三美”，是翻译理论和实践的一个重要而颇有 争议领域。本文从我国古诗英译家许渊冲提出的理论出发，通过理论分析和实际论证，对这一 理论进行系统性的研究，以期对我国古诗翻译的理论与实践有所推动。 著名古诗翻译家许渊冲先生从事翻译理论和实践多年。在中国古诗英译方面，许渊冲在理 论与实践上都做了大量的工作，做出了很大的贡献。他提出的“三美理论”，即，“音荚”“形 美”“意美”，来指导诗歌的翻译作者通过对中国古诗和英语诗歌在形、音、意方面的特点 进行对比分析，对这一理论进行了分析论证。论证过程辅以对一些诗词的不同译文的对比赏析， 分析展示诗歌在翻译过程中。三美”的传递。作者认为。三美论”可以用来指导诗歌翻译，以 最大程度再现原文的“音美、形美、意美”。 本文分为五部分：。 1 第一部分首先对中外翻译理论界有关诗歌翻译的思想进行综述，为本文提供一个学术的背 景，然后着重阐述许渊冲先生的生平及其翻译思想。 第二部分对中国吉诗在“音、形、意”三方面的特点进行了分析，并辅以例证的说明。
