The contents The part of the Vocabulary in the unit6 starters the topic accordingto the foods. It is training in listening, speaking ability of students.2) The teaching aims (the knowledge, the abilities and theemotions) A. Theaims of the knowledge: The names of the food and fruits. B. The aims of the abilities: to improve the abilities of listeningspeaking, C. The aims of the emotion: Talk about likes and dislikes.3) The important teaching points and the difficult points:A. The important points of this lesson; to master the words such as tomatoes, oranges, ice cream, salad, bananas, strawberries, hamburgers.B. The difficult point of this lesson: the training of the target language Yes/No questions and short answers.II. The teaching methods and aids Teaching the students by the ten teaching steps gradually to emphasize the contents. The teacher is to act the guideand the students as an actor to do the activities.In class we can use the modern teaching equipments to make the class interesting and lively. Such as: Tape recorders, computerIII. Teaching process 1. Warming-upLet the student to watch a short vedio first. Improve the interests of the students, and also get ready for class and some language points. (观看视频,活跃课堂气氛,并通过影片引出本节课的话题,为接下来的学习做铺垫) 2. PresentationShow pictures of the foods. By using Whats this in English? What are they? to Teach the new words of the food and fruits one by one. Then read them together after the teacher. such as: apple(s), orange(s), banana(s) etc. Then get the student to know the point about the countable nouns and the uncountable nouns.(图片直观呈现,教授食物新词汇,并通过直观的图片教学可数名词和不可数名词。)Get the ss to finish 1a, then check the answers together. (词汇检测笔头练习,巩固新授词汇。)3. Chant game: Get the students to chantApple, apple, I like apples;Pear, pear, I like pears;Orange, orange, I like oranges;Banana, banana, I like bananas;Hamburger, hamburger, I like hamburgers;Tomato, tomato, I like tomatoes;Strawberry, strawberry, I like strawberries;Milk, milk, I like milk;Bread, bread, I like bread;Salad, salad, I like salad;Ice-cream, ice-cream, I like ice-cream(Chant 激发学生的兴趣,活跃课堂氛围,进一步巩固重点词汇。)4. PresentationActivity 1: Introduce what I like and dislike: of all the foods, I like bananas, apples, but I dont like ice-cream.Activity 2: Get some students and ask “Do you like bananas?” Help the students to answer “Yes, I do. I like bananas.” “No, I dont. I dont. I dont like bananas. Then show some pictures to get the students to use the target language to ask and answer. Practice Activity 1: pairworkGet the ss to practice the target language according to the piatures on the screen. (pairwork利用给出的图画问同伴对食物的喜好,操练巩固新单词及目标语言。)Activity 2: listening Get the students to Listen to the tape, and finish 1b。(在听力训练中,使学生进一步熟悉本节课的重点词汇和目标语言。)Activity 3: interview A: Good morning! Whats your name, please? B: My name isA: Do you like ?B: Yes, I like/ No, I dont like(通过小组采访活动,口头操练目标语言,同时培养学生的团结协作意识,调动学生的学习热情和参与意识。使学生把所学学以致用。) 6. PresentationGet a student to make a conversation with the teacher :T: Do you like bananas?S: Yes, I do. / No, I dont.Then ask all the other students T: Does she/he like bananas?Help them to answer like this:Ss: Yes, she/he does./No, she/he doesnt. Then practice like that many times.(创设情境,在已有知识的基础上,引入新的句型结构。多次机械呈现练习,使学生熟悉掌握目标语言。)7. Guessing gameGet the student to look at the picture on the screen and guess:Ss: Does she/he like ?Then I will answer:T: Yes, she/he does. She/he likes No, she/he doesnt . She/he doesnt like (猜谜游戏,提高学生的积极性和学习兴趣,在游戏中灵活运用所学的句型,口头操练目标语言,提高学生的口语交际能力和综合运用能力。)8. Evaluation Get the ss to ask their parters questions and fill in the blanks. (on the screen). Then give a report to your classmates. Like this:Hello, Im _. I like_, but I dont like _. _ is my friend. He likes _, but he doesnt like _. (鼓励学生用本节课所学的重点句型询问自己好朋友对事物的喜好,最后以报告的形式把自己的调查结果向大家汇报。提高学生的积极性,愉悦课堂氛围和学生的情感。巩固知识点,提高综合语言运用能力。)Homework 你的美国朋友Tom想要了解你和你家人所喜欢的食物。你和你家人都喜欢什么呢?赶快去告诉他吧!Hello, Tom! I like_, but I dont like _.
