We all have some helpful tips for learning English. Presentation 1. I would love to speak English with your friends. would love/like to do. sb.would like/love to do Id love/like to 作答语时,表示非常愿意接受对方的建议 但是to不可以省略. Would you like to go to the party? Yes, Id like to. Important Sentences 2. Lets phone Jenny. * phone/telephone sb. 给打电话 相当于: ring sb. (up) , call sb.(up) Dont ring me up at night. 晚上不要给我打电话。 *let构成一个结构。 Let sb. do sth. 让做 Let the children play. 让孩子们玩玩吧。 3. helps people all over the world talk to each other. *learning English 本句的主语 *help后跟不带to的不定式即: help sb. (to) do *people all over the world 来自全世界的人们 *talk to/with sb. 和交谈 4. My teacher told me that to learn a language well, I need to use it. *that 后的宾语从句中 to learn a language 是to do sth. 的结构, 做目的状语 I have to study hard to improve my English. 5. Keep trying! * keep doing 持续做 Dont keep thinking about it! * keep sb doing 让一直做 He kept her waiting for 20 minutes. Keep him standing. 6.When I dont understand a word, I look it up in the dictionary. * lookup 查寻,寻找 look up 与代词连用时要把代词放在中间的位置, look it up *如果跟名词连用可以放在中间也可以放在后面, 例如: look up the word = look the word up 7. Are you interested in the news? * be interested in (doing) sth.对感兴趣 I am interested in reading books. 8.It takes time, but the new language gives them new opportunities. *it是代词, 代替学英语这件事情 *句中take指花费(时间), 常用句型: It takes sb. sometime to do sth. 花费时间做 It took me three hours to climb the mountain. 9. It is important for students to use English every day. *It is +adj. for sb. to do sth. 对来说, 做是样的 It is hard for me to learn English. 1.描述语言交流困难 1) Im sorry, I cant follow you. Please say that again. 抱歉,我不明白你的话。请再说一遍。 2) Pardon? Please speak more slowly. 请再重复一下好吗?说慢一点。 3) Im sorry, but I know only a little English. 请原谅,我只懂一点英语。 Useful Expressions 2.谈论打电话 1)May/Could I speak to ? 我能和讲话吗? 2) This is.speaking.我是 。 3)Is that.? 你是吗? 4)Hold on, please.请等一下。 本课动词的过去式和过去分词使用频繁,要确定动词的 正确形式,先要确定动词的时态。下面的顺口溜帮你辨 别。 动词时态不很难,先看时间是关键。 谓语服从主语管,动词形式随态变。 短文对话看全篇,单句无时按一般。 一时二主三动词,帮你来渡时态关。 Grammar 解释: 第一句是说做时态题时,先找出时间标志词,根据 时间确定动词的时态。 如:I _ (buy) a pen last Sunday. 根据时间状语last Sunday可以确定应该填过去式bought. last Sunday就是时间标志词。 第二句是说主语的人称和数确定谓语动词的单复数 形式,并且动词形式随时态变化而变化。 如:Tom with his sister_ (play) games at 8:00 last night. 先确定主语是Tom,根据时间标志词at 8:00 last night 确 定时态为过去进行时。所以填was playing 第三句是说遇到一篇短文或对话,要通过全文或上 下文的时间关系确定时态。如果遇到一个没有时间标志 词的句子,多数可判断为一般现在时。 第四句是一个总结,说明做时态题的步骤,先看时间 ,再看主语,然后确定动词的形式。有了这个顺口溜的 帮助,应该不难确定动词时态了。 1.I think _ English is fun.
