Major Genres (1)Narrative 4Ws 广义的记叙文包括故事、传记、历史、新 闻报道及叙事诗,而狭义的记叙文指记人 、叙事的文章。记叙文通常以情节发展或 时间顺 序组织文章,也有倒叙和插叙。记 叙文在专四考试中的比例不高,只占文章 总数的8%左右。理解记叙文的关键在于抓 住4个W,即when, where, who, what。只要 搞清楚这四个W之间的关系,就等于把握了 文章的框架。 Evaluation only.Evaluation only. Major Genres (2)Explanatory grasp the sequencing 说明文的目的是解释事物。记叙文和说明 文容易混淆。记叙文主要叙述事件与经历 ,而说明文主要写事物的进程和关系。例 如一篇历史题材的文章,如果只是叙述事 件的时间、地点、人物和经过,那就是记 叙文;如果讨论历 史事件的起因、影响和 性质,那就是说明文。阅读说 明文,重要 的是把握作者的说明顺序。在历年的专四 考试中,说明文占总数的20%左右,还是 比较重要的。说明文有多种说明方法和说 明顺序。 Evaluation only.Evaluation only. Major Genres A. 举例说明文:通过若干例子进行说明。 B. 类比与对比的说明文:类比说明文讨论 两个颇 为不同的事物如何相似;对比说明文讨论 两个颇为 相似的事物如何不同。 C. 因果说明文:旨在说明事物发生的原因或结果。 讨论 原因的说明文先简要交代结果,然后文章主体 分析原因,通常一个段落一个原因;讨论结 果的说 明文先简要交代原因,然后文章主体讨论 后果,通 常也是一个段落一个后果。 D. 定义说 明文:用演绎法或归纳 法展开。使用演绎 法的文章先给出定义,然后进行解释说 明;使用归 纳法的文章先展开叙述,然后再给出定义。 Evaluation only.Evaluation only. Major Genres (3)Argumentative grasp the logic structure 议论 文的目的是阐明观点,并使读者同意并支 持该观 点。议论 文在历年专四阅读 理解中所占 的比重是最大的,因此应当给予高度重视。议 论文的逻辑结 构一般有归纳 和演绎两种。归 纳型文章一开始先罗列各种事实和论据,然后 经过 分析得出结论 ,表明观点和立场;而演绎 型文章正好相反,一开始就表明观点,然后用 各种事实和论据加以论证 。因此,阅读时应 当 注意文章的逻辑 走向是归纳还 是演绎。若是归 纳,则文章的观点会在结尾出现;若是演绎, 则文章的观点会在开头出现。 Evaluation only.Evaluation only. Major Genres (4)Descriptive find the object being described 描写文是指对人、物、景等进行描写的文 体。纯粹的描写文不多,很多文章都是叙事 中带有描写,或描写中带有叙事。描写文 和记叙文的差别在于前者侧重静态描写, 而后者侧重动态叙述。在历年专四考试阅 读理解中,描写文只有1篇,比重很小。 Evaluation only.Evaluation only.
