Please look at the screen.Show the following to students.1、并列连词and, but, or 的用法: and: 用于连接两个语法相同的词、短语或句子,表示并列或附加的关系。e.g. He played the piano and she sang. but: 用来连接两个有对立或对照性关系的词语或句子,表示一种转折,“但是”,“然而”。e.g. I like watching TV, but I cant sp
10、end much time on it. or:“或者”,表示一种选择关系。e.g. Do you like tea or coffee? Shall I send the photo to you by post or will you come to get it yourself? 当两个句子的主语相同时,第二个主语可省去。e.g. He studies hard but is weak at his studies. 当两个句子中的主语和谓语动词相同时,第二个主语和谓语动词可省略。e.g. You can get there by bus or by underground.2、The
11、 use of “or” 可能性,选择。“或”。 e.g. What would you like, coffee or tea? 用在否定词后面,“也不”。e.g. There isnt any food or water here. “否则,不然”。e.g. Wear your coat, or you will be cold.Step III Play gamesT: Here are some cards. On some cards, I write “and” “but” and “or”. On other cards, I write two sentences on eve
12、ry card. I ask one student to hold the card which has two sentences in front of the class, other students choose the correct cards which writes “but” “and” and “or”. Then ask another student to take the card to fill in the blank in the sentence and read out the whole sentence. e.g.: The sky was blue
13、 and everything was beautiful.The students are interested in this. They practice them by playing games.Make the cards with sentences on page 45. Have fun studying English grammar like this.Step IV PracticeT: Lets finish some exercises on the exercise books. Fill in the blank with “and” “but” and “or
