ornohealthyhabits.Thosewhohadtwoorthreegoodhabitswere30%lesslikelytogetdementia.
Thestudydidn'tfigureoutwhichofthesixhealthyhabitsisthebestforstoppingdementiaorwhich
combinationisthebest.However,theinformationdidshowthateatinghealthyseemedtohelppreventmemory
lossthemost,withbrainexerciseandregularphysicalexercisealsoveryhelpful.
About20%ofthepeopleinthestudyhadagenethatmakesAlzheimer'sdiseasemorelikely.Evenso,having
severalgoodhealthhabitshelpedslowdownmemoryloss.Thisshowsthatchanginghowwelivecanreallyhelp.
Eventhougheachhealthhabithelpedinadifferentway,overall,thestudyfoundthatpeoplewithmoregood
