反身代词作动词或介词宾语

反身代词用作动词或介词宾语，经常放在enjoy（享受）、hurt（伤害）、introduce

（介绍）、express（表达）、amuse（娱乐）、behave（表现）等词后，如：

*SheteachersherselfEnglish.她自学英语。

（注：herself时she的反身代词，作teach的宾语）

*Iplantedtreebymyself.这棵树时未自己种的。

（注：myself用作介词by的宾语,表示“由我自己用

反身代词表强调

反身代词用作同位语，位于名词或代词后，表示强调，意为“亲自，本人，自身”，

如：

*Theteacherherselfvisitedtheboy'sparents.

老师亲自拜访了这个男孩的父母。

固定短语initself用于加强语气，如：

*Thearchitectureinitselfisbeautiful,butthegardenisverywonderful,too.

这座建筑本身就很美，但是花园也很不错。

用yourselves表礼貌

有时候，我们用反身代词代替人称代词来表示礼貌，如：
