(-)宾语从句的种类

宾语从句是一种名词性从句,在句中作及物动词的宾语,或介词的宾语,或形容词的宾语。根据引导宾语从句的不同

连词,宾语从句可分为三类。

结构:

主语+谓语+宾语(陈述句语序)【注意:1~引导词.that2~语序v.+主+谓由if、whether引导宾语从句3~时态:

A.主句…现在时从句--任一时态】

1.由that引导的宾语从句。that只有语法作用,没有实在的意义,在口语

和非正式文体中可以省略。例如:

Hesaid(that)hewantedtostayathome.

Shedoesn'tknow(that)sheisseriouslyill.

Iamsure(that)hewillsucceed.

2.由连接代词who,whom,whose,what,which和连接副词when,where,why,how引导的宾语从句。这些连接代词和连

接副词在宾语从句中充当某个成分。例如:

Doyouknowwho(whom)theyarewaitingfoe?

Heaskedwhosehandwritingwasthebest.

CanyoutellmewheretheNo.3busstopis?

Idon'tknowwhythetrainislate.

3.由if或whether引导的宾语从句。if和whether在句中的意思是“是否"。例如:

Iwanttoknowif(whether)helivesthere.

Heaskedmewhether(if)Icouldhelphim.

一般情况下,if和whether可以互换,但以下3种情况只能用whether

①在不定式前:Whethertogothereornothasn'tbeendecided.

②在介词前:Itdependson(依靠)whetheritisgoingtorain.

③与ornot连用:Theyaretalkingaboutwhethertogothereornot.

语法点:由if或whether引导的宾语从句

词汇:if,whether,ask,wonder,know,•••

句型:••,asks/asked/wonders/wondered/wantstoknow/wantedtoknowif/whether…

(二)宾语从句的语序

宾语从句的语序应为陈述句的语序。例如:

Ihear(that)physicsisn'teasy.

Ithink(that)youwilllikethisschoolsoon.

CanyoutellmehowIcangettozoo?

(三)宾语从句的时态

1.如果主句的时态是一般现在时.,宾语从句该用什麽时态就用什麽时态。

如:Idon'tthink(that)youareright.

2.如果主句的时态是一般过去时,宾语从句只能用相应的过去时态(一般过去时,过去进行时,过去将来时,

过去完成时)。例如:

Heaskedwhattimeitwas.

Hetoldmethathewaspreparingforthesportsmeet.

HeaskedifyouhadwrittentoPeter.

HesaidthathewouldgobacktotheU.S.soon.

3.如果宾语从句所陈述的是客观真理,其时态常用一般现在时。例如:

OurteachersaidthatJanuaryisthefirstmonthoftheyear.

Scientistshaveprovedthattheearthturnsaroundthesun.

4.不省略引导词that

当that作learn,suggest,explain,agree,wonder,prove,mean,state,feel,hold等动词的宾语时;

当宾语从句较长时;

当主语状语置于主句尾,宾语从句之前时;

当主语谓语动词(包括非谓语动词)与宾语从句之间有插入语时;

当一个动词带有两个或两个以上宾语从句时,此时第一个that可以省略,第二个that不可以省略;

当宾语从句中的主语是this,that或this,lhat做主语的定语时;

当宾语从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时;

当宾语从句的主语是非谓语动词或主语从句时;

当主语中的谓语动词是固定词组时;

当宾语从句有it做其先行词时;

在直接引语中,转述分句把宾语从句隔开时.

当that在从句中充当主语时

一、宾语从句考点之一:引导词

【考点归纳】根据充当宾语从句的句子类型的不同,宾语从句的引导词分为三种情况:(1)陈述句充当宾语从句,使

用引导词that。在口语中that常省略;(2)一般疑问句充当宾语从句,用if或whether充当引导词;(3)特殊疑问句

充当宾语从句的,用特殊疑问词作为引导词。

考例2句意为:太晚了,为什么明天写这报告呢?但如果现在不写,我不知道明天什么时候才能写了。根据题意可

知,宾语从句指的时间,故选B。

二、宾语从句考点之二:语序

【考点归纳】一般疑问句或特殊疑问句充当宾语从句时,宾语从句的语序为陈述句语序,即“if或whether或特殊疑

问词+陈述句”。

三、宾语从句考点之三:主从句的时态呼应

【考点归纳】在宾语从句中,从句的时态要与主句的时态相呼应。1.主句的时态为一般现在时,从句根据需要,选用

与从句中时间状语或语气相应的任何时态;2.主句为一般过去时,根据需要,选择过去时态。3.主句过去时,但从句

谓语动词所表示的是客观事实、普遍真理、自然现象或习惯性的动作,尽管主句为一般过去时,从句的时态也应使用

一般现在时。

过去时,故选D。

考例6句意为:我们来时说地球绕太阳运行。虽然主句使用的是-一般过去时,但从句表示的是客观事实,应使用一般

现在时,故选B。

考例7句意为:你知道他们什么时候开会吗?明天上午。因为主句为一般现在时,所以从句根据下文的tomorrow

morning应使用一般将来时,故选B。

四、宾语从句考点之四:when和if引导两种从句的时态区别

【考点归纳】when和if既可以引导宾语从句,也可以引导状语从句。因此,正确区分它们引导的是宾语从句还是状

语从句非常重要。

If和when引导宾语从句时,其意为“是否”和"何时”,其时态和主句相呼应,从句只能在主句谓语动词后充当宾语;

当if引导条件状语从句时,其意为“如果"。When引导时间状语从句时,其意为“当……时候”。如主句为一般将来

时,则if或when引导的状语从句只能用一般现在时来代替一般将来时,且if或when引导的从句可以置于主句之前,

也可以在主句后面。

语从句,根据说话人的语气可知:叔叔还未到,故应使用一般将来时;第二句中的if引导的是条件状语从句,因为

从句使用的是一般现在时,故主句应用一般将来时,故选答案B。

考例9句意为:詹妮现在正在度假,我想知道她什么时候回来。第一句用“is+介词短语”表示现在进行时;第二句中

的when引导的宾语从句,根据说话人的语气可知,她现在还未回来,应使用一般将来时。在一般将来时中,如果动

词为come,go,leave等,常用现在进行时表示一般将来时,故选B。

五、宾语从句考点之五:if和whether引导宾语从句的区别

【考点归纳】if和whether引导宾语从句时,其意思相同,都是“是否”,通常情况下二者可以交换对句子的意义没有

影响。但在下列情形中,则只能使用whether而不可使用if。

1.介词之后的宾语从句,只能使用whether引导宾语从句;

2.从句末有ornot时,只能使用whether引导宾语从句;

3.动词decide后只能使用whether引导宾语从句。

【考例10](2014贵州黔东南)——Idon?tknowornot.

【简析】考例10句意为:我不知道是否在学校没有。我也不知道。你可以问他的老师。因为从句末有ornot,因此,

引导宾语从句的引导词只能使用whether,故选答案A。

定语从句基本用法复习

定语从句:在复合句中修饰名词或代词的句子在复合句中充当定语,所以叫作定语从句。

先行词:定语从句所修饰的名词或代词。

关系词:引导定语从句的词,分为关系代词(who,whom,that,which,whose)和关系副词(where,when,why,)。

复合句:Themanwho(that)cameisMike.

①当先行词前被形容词最高级修饰时。如:

②当先行词前有一个序数词修饰时。如:

③当先行词在定语从句中作宾语或表语时,在口语中用who或whom引导均可,但如直接位于介词后作宾语时,只

能用whom。如:
