名词的数。

名词可分为可数名词和不可数名词。可数名词又有单数和复数之分，表示一个人或事物要用单数名词的形式;表示两个或两个以上的人或事物用名词复数形式。

可数名词单数形式变复数形式有以下规则。①一般情况下，在名词词尾加-s。例如：eraser→erasers，bottle→bottles。

sh结尾的名词加-es。例如：box→boxes,

sandwich→sandwiches。

③以o结尾的名词加-s或者-es。一般情况下，表示无生命的名词加-s，例如：photo→photos，zoo→zoos;表示有生命的名词加-es，例如：hero—heroes，tomato→tomatoes;同时，值得注意的是，有个别以o结尾的名词，不管其词意是否表示有生命，都只加-s，例如：kangaroo→kangaroos。
