40deathsper1,000comparedto31inIndonesia.Bangladeshhadbyfarthe

fortieththatoftheU.S.A.Thefigureintermsofthedailycaloriesupplyper

headinBangladeshisthehalfofthatinU.S.A.,anditsinfantmortalityrate

was6timesgreater.Inconclusion,itcanbeseenfromtheeconomicindicators

thatthefourdevelopingcountrieshavealongwaytogobeforereachingthe

samelevelofqualityoflifeastheU.S.A.Atthesametime,theU.S:A.has

theresponsibilitytohelptheothercountriestodeveloptheireconomiesand

improvetheirpeople'slivingstandards.

7.HowtoTreatOurAgingPopulation?Chinahasalreadysteppedintoan

agingsocietyaccordingtointernationalstandards.Thosebeyond65madeup

morethan7percentofthenationalpopulation.Accordingtoexperts'

predictionthisphenomenonisgoingtocontinuefordecades.Nowthesociety

isfacedupwiththeissueoftacklingtheoldpeople'sproblems.Firstthe

societyshouldfosterasocialenvironmentthatchampionsrespectandcare

fortheold.Thisisprerequisiteintacklingthevariousproblemstheelderly

familycarecommunity-basedservicesandsocialwelfarenecessarytohelp

ouroldpopulationinhelpingandsupportingtheirlives.Inthiswayoldpeople

canenjoythehelpandlovefromboththesocietyandtheirfamiliesthus

relievingthepressureontheiryoungerchildren.Thirdoldpeoplenotonly
