当今世界,战争不断,冲突升级,给孩子们带来了怎样的伤害呢?ChildreninconflictOverthelasttenyears,twomillionchildrenhavebeenkilledinconflict.Overonemillionhavebeenorphaned,oversixmillionhavebeenseriouslyinjuredorpermanentlydisabledandovertenmillionhavebeenleftwithseriouspsychologicaltrauma.Since1998therehavebeenarmedconflictsinvolvingChildSoldiersinatleast36countries.However,thetraumaticscarsleftonchildrenarejustoneofavastaftermathofpostwarproblems:refugees,foodshortagesandmourningforlostrelatives.FormerChildSoldiersmayatbesthavetheirneedsforgottenandatworstbeblamedbytheirmunitiesforwhathappened.Asyouwouldexpect,SOSChildrenworkinmanycountriestohelpChildSoldiersandotherchildrenscarredbyconflict.AswellasourcurrentfocusprojectsforUgandanChildSoldiersandchildreninPalestine,weareworkingaroundtheworldwithchildrenwhoseliveswillneverbethesame.OthercurrentChildSoldierprojectsincluderehabilitationofChildSoldiersinSudanwhereSOSisprovidingcounselling,familytracing,educationandsupportforformerChildSoldiers.WearealsoabletolookbackfromlongexperienceattheissueofChildSoldiers.TenyearsafterthemassacreinRwanda,weareworkingtorebuildlives.Ninemembersofourmunityweremurderedinthegenocidethere.Another,whowasforcedtobeeachildsoldierandjointheconflict,onlytolosealegtoalandmine,isinterviewedonourRwandapage.“Warviolateseveryrightofachild—therighttolife,therighttobewithfamilyandnurturedandrespected.”[阅读障碍词]1.trauman.
