JusttwodaysafterConCeiVing(想出)theidea,PolicanoandElkindhadawebsiteupandrunning.Thissite
allowedtheelderlyandotherat-riskindividualstomakerequestsforgroceriesandprescriptionmedicinestobe
deliveredtothem.Volunteersleftthebagsofgroceriesoutsidethedoors.Thewebpagealsoincludedacallfor
volunteers,whichgainedmorethan2,000sign-upswithinthefirstfivedays.
AsthepandemicbegantotakeitstollonNewYorkinMarch2020,InvisibleHandsDeliverwitnessedamassive
