人教课标高三选修9Unit3Unit3AustraliaGrammar表语主要是说明主语的身份、特征、状态等情况,位于系动词之后。可用作表语的有名词、代词、数词、形容词、副词、介词短语、词组、动词不定式、动词-ing形式、过去分词或从句等。近几年高考试题中对表语的考查点归纳如下:表语I.形容词作表语

形容词作表语主要位于be,feel,sound,taste,smell,look,remain,stay,grow,turn,go

等词后面。形容词作表语一般考查形容词辨析。

C【拓展】有些形容词如alone,asleep,afraid,awake,alive,alike,ashamed,aware,sorry,sure等一般只作表语而不作定语。II.动词-ing形式和过去分词作表语对动词-ing形式和过去分词作表语的考查点通常有:一般来说,动词-ing形式转化来的形容词作表语表示事物给人的感觉,意为“(主语)令人……的”;而过去分词转化来的形容词作表语表示人对事物的感觉,意为“(主语)感到……的”。过去分词作表语常用于动词remain,get,keep,stay等后,表示某种状态。Initsearlyhistory,Chicagohadfloodsfrequently,especiallyinthespring,makingthestreetssomuddythatpeople,horses,andcartsgotstuck.III.从句作表语对从句作表语的考查主要是考查从句的引导词,如:where,when,why,how,what,that,whether等,这需要考生分析表语从句中缺少什么成分。注意:注意:1)区别that与what的用法。that在表语从句中不充当任何成分,而what在表语从句中充当主语、宾语或表语。2)区别if与whether的用法。if作“是否”讲时,不可引导表语从句,只能引导宾语从句,而whether可以引导表语从句和其他名词性从句。另外,表语从句的语序为陈述语序。Ashipinharborissafe,butthat’snot______shipsarebuiltfor.A.what B.whom C.whyD.when考查表语从句。句意:船停放在海港里是很安全的,但轮船并非为此目的而建造。that’s后跟从句作表语,表语从句中的for后缺少宾语,用what引导,what与for连用,表示目的。故选A。why和when作状语,不可以充当答案。whom指人。A[拓展]
