beenapprovedasanationalstandardwithaserialnumberofGB50386-2016,whichwillbe
implementedonApril1,2017.Item7.5.1isacompulsoryprovisionandmustbeenforcedstrictly.
TheoriginalnationalstandardCodeforacceptanceofengineeringinstallationformechanical
equipmentofrollingmill,GB50386-2006shallbeabolishedsimultan专用eously.

ThiscodeisjointlyrevisedandaccomplishedbyChinaMCC20GroupCorp.,Ltd.andthe
relevantparticipatingcompaniesaccordingtotherequirementsofDocumentJianBiao〔2013〕
No.169issuedbyMinistryofConstruction(MOC)-“NoticeonPrintingtheDevelopmentand
RevisionPlanofNationalEngineeringConstructionStandardsin2014”.Therevisionteamhas
conductedinvestigations,summarizedexperiencesofinstallationofrollingmillmechanicalequipmentfor
decadeofyears,carriedoutmonographicstudy,usedalotofliteratureandengineeringdocumentsas
referenceandtakenadvicewidelyfromrelevantparticipatingorganizationsandexpertsintheprocessof
revision,finallydevelopedthisrevieweddraft.
Thecodecomprises17chaptersand4appendixeswiththemaincontentsasfollows:general
provisions,basicrequirement,equipmentfoundation,anchorboltandpacker,equipmentand
materials,rollingmill,shears,uncoilerandcoiler,rollertable,coolingbed,conveyor,transferand
tiltingequipment,straightener,loop,weldingmachine,heatingfurnace,auxiliaryfacilities,safety
andenvironmentalprotectionetc.专用
Themaincontentsofrevision:
(1)Adjustthechapterlayoutofthiscode.Combinesection4.2and4.3ofchapter4inoriginal
codeassection4.2ofchapter4,movesection15.14ofchapter15tosection7.4ofchapter7,
combinesection6.2,6.3,6.4and6.5ofchapter6inoriginalcodeintoonesection,movesection
15.12ofchapter15intheoriginalcodetochapter14asoneindividualchapter,tomaketherevised
codechapternamebeconsistentwithcontentsofprovision,theprocessinglinkageandcooperation
bemorereasonable.

Thiscodeisapplicabletoinstallationacceptanceofrollingmillmechanicalequipment
relatedtoconstruction,extensionandrenovation.

Fortheacceptanceofrollingmillmechanicalequipmentinstallation,notonlythe
requirementsstipulatedinthiscode,butalsothoseinthecurrentrelevantonesofthenationshall
becompliedwith.

2BasicRequirements
2.0.1
Therollingmillmechanicalequipmentinstallationshallhavecorrespondingconstruction
technicalstandard,qualitymanagementsystem,qualitycontrolandinspectioninstitution,construction
organizationdesignandconstructionoperationdocuments.
2.0.2
Theconstructiondrawingmodificationshallhavesigneddocumentsfromthedesign
company.
2.0.3
Themetrologicalverificationandcalibrationqualificationinstrumentsshallbeusedinthe
qualityinspectionandacceptanceofrollingmillmechanicalequipmentengineering.Theaccuracy
shallmeettheaccuracyrequirementsofinspecteditem,alsoneedtoguaranteethattheirutilityshall
withinvalidperiod.
2.0.4
Peopleengagedinspecialoperationsshallholdspecial-typeworksafetyoperationcertificate
andprofessionalqualificationcertificateforrollingmillmechanicalequipmentinstallation,andcan
workforapproveditemsandinrecognizedscopeofwork.
2.0.5
Equipmentinstallationshallbeperformedinaccordancewiththeprescribedprocedures.Complete

theinspectionacceptanceandthencompiletherecordsaftereachprocedureaccomplishment.The
nextconstructionprocedurecannotcarryonwithoutinspectionandacceptance.

Forequipmentsecondarygroutingandotherconcealedworksofrollingmillmechanical
equipmentinstallation,constructioncompanyshallcarryoutandpasstheself-inspectionfirst,and
thennotifysupervisorandrelevantcompaniestocheckandsignanacceptancerecordbefore
concealedworksisexecuted.

Inspectionandacceptanceshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewiththedivisionofsubsection
project,subentryprojectandunitprojectafterconstructioncompanyhavefinishedandpassedthe
self-inspection.Thedivisionofsubsectionandsubentryengineeringforrollingmillmechanical
equipmentengineeringshouldbeinaccordancewiththosespecifiedinTable2.0.7.
