世界自然基金会在全球拥有470万支持者以及一个在96个国家活跃着的网络。从1961年成立以来，世界自然基金会在6大洲的153个国家发起或完成了约12000个环保项目。目前世界自然基金会通过一个由27个国家级会员组织组成的全球性的网络在北美洲、欧洲、亚太地区及非洲开展工作。
