4.3CementPlacement

Theresultsshowthattheuseofpre-flushfluidssignificantlyimprovedthequalityofcementplacementduringdrillingoperations.Inwellsthatusedpre-flushfluids,therewaslessdeviationinthecementplacementfromthedesignatedarea,andthecementwasself-consolidatedwithbetterbondingtotheformationwalls.Whileinthewellsthatdidnotusepre-flushfluids,thecementplacementwaspoorlydistributed,resultingintheformationofchannelsandincreasedtheriskofgasmigration.Themeanscoreofcementplacementforwellsthatusedpre-flushfluidswas8.8,whilethatofwellsthatdidnotusepre-flushfluidswas6.6.

4.4WellboreIntegrity

Theresultsalsoshowthattheuseofpre-flushfluidsimproveswellboreintegrity.Inwellsthatusedpre-flushfluids,theflowratewassignificantlylowercomparedtowellsthatdidnotusepre-flushfluids.Themeanflowrateforwellsthatusedpre-flushfluidswas5.3gallonsperminute(GPM),whilethatofwellsthatdidnotusepre-flushfluidswas7.9GPM.Thisindicatesthattheuseofpre-flushfluidsresultsinbetterwellborequality,whichreducestheriskoffluidlossandenhancesthestabilityoftheformationwalls.

4.5DiscussionandInterpretations

Theresultsofthestudyshowthattheuseofpre-flushfluidsimprovestheaccuracyoftheloggingdataduringdrillingoperations,enhancescementplacementquality,andreduceswellboreintegrityrisks.Thesefindingssupportthehypothesisthattheuseofpre-flushfluidsbeforetheLWCoperationleadstoamoreeffectiveandefficientdrillingprocess.Theresultsalignwithpreviousstudiesthathaveemphasizedthesignificanceofpre-flushfluidsinreducingformationdamage,improvingdrillingefficiency,andensuringbettercementplacement.
