TECHNICALSPECIFICATIONSFORAUTOMATIONINSTRUMENTINSTALLATIONWORKS

Technicalrequirementsforconstruction

1.1 ConditionsforInstrumentInstallation

1.1.1 Theconstructiondrawings,relatedtechnicaldocumentsandnecessaryinstallationandoperationinstructionsoftheinstrumentsareallreadyandonhand.

1.1.2 Jointcheckupofconstructiondrawingshasbeenmade.

2.1.3 Technicalpreparationsuchastechnicalexplanationandtraininghasbeencompleted.

2.1.4 Theconstructionsitehasbeenmadereadyforinstrumentationworks,andconstructionprocedureshavebeenpreparedandapproved.

2.2GeneralSpecificationofInstrumentInstallation

2.2.1 Theinstrumentinstallationworksmustbecompliedwiththeconstructiondrawingsandtheoperationinstructionsoftheinstruments.Themodel,specificationandqualityoftheequipmentandmaterialmustbecompliedwiththeInstrumentSpecifications.

2.2.2 Goodcooperationmustbemadebetweentheinstrumentconstructionworksandotherspecialties,suchasbuilding,structure,electric,processequipment,pipingandsoon.

2.2.3 Amongtheinstrumentinstallationworks,theinstallationofpowersupplyequipment,layingofelectriclinesandconstructionofelectricexplosion-proofingandgroundingworksmustbecompliedwiththeCodeforConstructionandAcceptanceofIndustrialAutomationandInstrumentationEngineering(GBJ93-86)andStandardforQualityInspectionandAssessmentofAutomationInstrumentInstallationWorks(GBJ131-90).

2.2.4TheweldingoftheinstrumentinstallationworksmustbecompliedwithCM-QC-TR-009CodefortheFieldWeldingofEquipmentandIndustrialPiping.

2.2.5 Thepurgingoftheairsupplysystem,cleaningofliquidsupplysystem,cuttingmethodofthepipeline,andprocessingofhigh-pressurescrewthreadandsealingsurfaceforthreadedflangeconnectionaswellasconnectionofpipingmustbecompliedwiththespecificationintheCodeforConstructionandAcceptanceofIndustrialMetallicPiping.

2.3InstallationofSensingElements

2.3.1 GeneralSpecification

(1) Theinstallationofsensingelementsshallbemadeatthesametimeastheprocessequipmentmanufacturingorprefabricationandinstallationofprocesspiping.

(2) Openingandweldingforsensingelementinstallationmustbedonebeforetheanti-corrosion,lining,purgingandpressuretestofprocesspipingorequipment.

(3) Holes/Openingsinthehighpressure,alloysteelandnon-ferrousmetalprocesspipingandequipmentmustbeboredwithmechanicalmethod.

(4) Thesensingelementstobeinstalledonmasonryorconcretecastpiecemustbeembeddedatthesametimewhenthemasonryorcastingisbeingmade.Ifitcannotbedoneso,themountingholesshallbereserved.

(5) Openingandweldingforinstallationofthesensingelementsisnotpreferredatornearweldingseams.

(6) Thesensingelementsusedinhighpressure,negativepressure,hightemperature,flammable,explosive,poisonousandnoxiousmediamustbeallinspected.

(7) Thesensingelementsusedininnoxiousmediaatnormaltemperatureunderlowandmediumpressuremusthavespotinspectionatrateof30%accordingtosortoftheelementsandonepieceofeachsortshallbeinspectedasminimum.

2.3.2TemperatureSensingElement

ThetechnicalrequirementsforconstructionofthetemperaturesensingelementsshallbecompliedwiththeTable1.

2.8.1.1 Theinstrumentsusedathighpressure,negativepressure,hightemperature,flammable,explosive,poisonous,noxiousmediaandforkeyprocessparametersaswellasmeteringandalarminstrumentsmustbecheckeduptotally.

2.8.1.2 Spottestatrateof30%shallbemadefortheinstrumentsusedforinnoxiousmediaatlow,mediumpressureandnormaltemperatureaccordingtotheirsystemandservices,atleastonesystemoronepieceofinstrumentshallbetestedasminimum.

2.8.2 PointerInstruments

ThetechnicalrequirementsforseparatetestandcalibrationofpointerinstrumentsshallbecompliedwiththeTable22.
