Thereareseveraltypesofroomreservationsinourbusiness.Forguestswhowanttobecertainthatroomsareavailableupontheirarrival,thehotelcanarrangeaguaranteedreservation.Indoingso,guestsagreetopayfortheirroomseveniftheroomsarenotused.Thehotelwillholdroomsforguestsstillcheck-outtimeonthedayfollowingtheexpecteddayofarrival.Otherwisethereservationsarenon-guaranteed.Whilethereareseveraltypesofguaranteedreservations,themostcommonwayisthecreditcardguaranteedreservations,wherethehotelkeepsrecordsoftheguest’screditcardaccountnumber.
