Abstract:

Wheelovalityofthetraincancauseincreasedfrictionbetweenthewheelandthetrackandcancausevibration,noise,andevenendangerthesafetyofthetrain.Therefore,itisimportanttodetectthelossofcircularityofthetrainwheelinreal-time.Thispapermainlystudiesthedynamicdetectionmethodandtechnologyoftrainwheelovality,anddeeplyexplorestheprincipleandmethodofovalitydetectionfromthreeaspects:physicalmodel,signalprocessing,andmonitoringsystem.

Firstly,thispaperintroducesthereasonsforthelossofcircularityofthewheelanditseffectonthestabilityofthetrain'soperation.Then,aphysicalmodelisestablishedforthelossofcircularityofthewheel.Themathematicalmodelofthevibrationsignalofthewheel'slossofcircularityisderivedtoprovideatheoreticalbasisforsubsequentsignalprocessing.Intermsofsignalprocessing,thispaperproposesafeatureextractionmethodforovalityofthetrainwheel.Wavelettransformation,correlationcoefficients,andothertechniquesareusedforsignalanalysisandprocessing,andthefrequency-domainandtime-domainfeatureparametersoftheovalitysignalareobtained.Intermsofthemonitoringsystem,thispaperintroducesasensor-basedmonitoringsystemforthelossofcircularityofthetrainwheel.Thesystemcanreal-timeacquirethewheelvibrationsignal,andthroughthecomputersignalprocessingtoobtainthedetectionresults,whichprovidestrongsupportforthesafetyoperationofthetrain.
