MygradeschooldaysarethemostwonderfultimeIhaveeverhad.InthosedaysIalwayswantedaseagerlytolearnasadogprowlsaboutinsearchoffood.TheteacherstaughtmenotonlythethreeRsbutalsothewaytoobservetheworldsurroundingus.Theylaidmorestressonobservationthanonmemorization.Thuswehadmuchtimetotalkoverandtradeourlearningexperiences.Whatexcitedmemostduringmygradeschooldays,however,wastobeoutcollectingspecimensofthebutterfly.Once,onasunnydayandafterwalkingagoodwhile,wereachedaonebegantocatchthebutterflieswithgreatexcitementwhiletheteachertoldusaboutthelivinghabitofthem.Thoughwespentmoretimeinplayingthanincatchingbutterflies,westillhadarichcollectionwhenwewenthome,andarichknowledgeofwildlifeintothebargain.

AfterIattendedjuniorhighschoolIdidnothavemuchofanopportunitytolearnthewayIdidingradeschool,butdidnotregretbecauseweareboundtogothroughvariousstagesoflife.Anyway,mygradeschooleducationwasthecornerstoneofmylaterlearningcareerandforthatsinglereason,ifnotforanyother,Iamgratefultoit.
