本片面是在SectionA的根基上，通过对自然和文化的对比过渡到了动物这一话题。本片面呈现了大象、熊猫以及熊猫研究基地相关的内容，通过听、说、读、写等活动，引导学生学习更多表达对比的句式布局，了解大熊猫等濒危动物，培养养护动物的意识。2a--2e是一个阅读板块。阅读材料是关于大熊猫的一篇报道，具有说明文的一些征。2a的读前活动供给了一些词汇，让学生自己组织语言说一说大熊猫，为2b的阅读活动做好了话题打定。2b要求学生阅读文章，运用寻读法（scanning），快速查找每个数字所表达的意义。2c的读后活动让学生再次运用寻读策略，根据问题所要求的信息点快速定位并找出问题的答案。2d是通过对文本细节信息的理解并运用文中的语言将相关句子补充完整。2e是一个开放性的问题，要求学生想出更多方法扶助拯救大熊猫，启发学生斟酌。
