TransformingEducationalPracticeswithTechnology.II.Introducingthethemeandpurposeofaconference4.Thisisthefirstoneofanewseriesofannualacademicconferencesexploringhowtechnologycouldbeeffectivelyutilizedinteaching,learning,andeducationaladministration.5.Thisconferencewillexploreeconomicmobilityasitisinfluencedbyoraffectsfamilies,communities,andtheeconomy.6.Today’sconferenceon‘AdvancingtheNursingResearchAgendainLebanon’pavesthewaytoimportantfuturedevelopmentsinthenursingprofession.1.Tokickthingsoff,Iwouldliketoraisesomeissuesrelevanttothesechallenges.Thefirstissueconcerns/istheeffectsofunconventionalmonetarypolicyanditstransmissionchannels.Ibelievethatitwillbemeaningfulifwecanfurtherpromoteacommonunderstandingonunconventionalpolicybysharingthevariousinsightsobtainedfrombothimplementationandacademicresearchofmonetarypolicy.2.IwouldliketosharewithyousomethoughtsaboutwhatIconsidertobeimportantissuesforthisconference.3.Thesecond/thirdissueconcerns/pertainsto/iswithregardtoinflationexpectationsandthedeclineincrudeoilprices.III.Introducingthetopics/issuesofaconference4.Thusfar,Ihaveexplainedthethreeissuescentralbanksnowfaceintheconductofmonetarypolicy.Next,Iwouldliketoraisesomepolicyissuesfromalonger-termperspective.5.Thisbringsmetothethirdimportantissue,thatoftransparencyinlanddeals,whichseemstohavebecomeapopulardemandamongmanyorganizationsinvolvedinlandrelatedadvocacy.6.I’msureyouwillhavearangeoftopicsyouwanttocover,butletmejustaddressafew
