TheYunnanbaiyaocreatedin1902.

In1971,thepanyformerlyknownYunnanbaiyaoplantwasofficiallyestablished,theBaiyaostartedspecializedproduction.

November30,1993,YunnanbaiyaoplantregisteredasYunnanbaiyaoIndustrialCo.,Ltd.,listedontheShenzhenStockExchangeonDecember15,theYunnanProvince,thefirstA-sharelistedpanies.

1995,Yunnanbaiyao(powder),Yunnanbaiyaocapsuleareclassifiedasnationalleveltoprotectthespecies,theprotectionperiodof20years.Yunnanbaiyaotincture,cream,Gongxueningcapsule,andReduqingpieceasasecondclassstateprotectionoftraditionalChinesemedicinevarieties.

1996theYunnanbaiyaoIndustrialCo.,Ltd.restructuredBaiyaoGroupCo.,Ltd..

In1999,pharmaceuticalpaniesinYunnanProvinceandKunmingdayspurplerainbowpharmaceuticalfactoryasthestate-ownedhigh-qualityassets,rightsissuesintoBaiyaoGroup,overthesameperiodinYunnanHongtaGrouptobeethesecondlargestshareholderofYunnanbaiyao.Thesameyear,BaiyaoGroupCo.,Ltd.wasidentifiedas"high-techenterpriseindustry.

December1999,theGroupinvested30millionyuantosetupBaiyaoGroupMedicineElectronicCommerceLimited.
