定义:一般现在时表示现在经常反复发生的动作、存在的状态或习惯性的动作的时态构成:一般现在时用行为动词的原形,但第三人称单数作主语时,动词的词尾要加-S。一般的动词词尾+S。以sh/ch/s/x/o结尾的词+es。以辅音字母+Y结尾的把Y变成i,+es。形式:主语+动词原形+宾语一般现在时定义:一般现在时表示现在经常反复发生的用法1:表示经常的或习惯性的动作,常与表示频度的时间状语连用。时间状语:always,usually,regularly,everymorning/night/evening/day/week,often,rarely,sometimes,hardly,occasionally,fromtimetotime,twiceaweek,seldom,onceamonth,ever,never.Example:

Heisalwayslateforschool.用法1:表示经常的或习惯性的动作,常与表用法2:表示主语具备的性格、能力和特征。Examples:Idon’twantitsomuch.AnnWangwritesgoodEnglishbutdoesnotspeakwell.比较:NowIputthesugarinthecup.Iamdoingmyhomeworknow.

用法2:表示主语具备的性格、能力和特征。第一句用一般现在时,用于操作演示或指导说明的示范性动作,表示言行的瞬间动作。再如:Nowwatchme,Iswitchonthecurrentandstandback.第二句中的now是进行时的标志,表示正在进行的动作的客观状况,所以第一句用一般现在时,第二句用现在进行时。用法3:表示现在的状态。Examples:Theearthmovesaroundthesun.第一句用一般现在时,用于操作演示或指导说用法4:表示格言或警句中。Example:Pridegoesbeforeafall.骄者必败。注意★:此用法如果出现在宾语从句中,即使主句是过去时,从句谓语也要用一般现在时。Example:Columbusprovedthattheearthisround.用法4:表示格言或警句中。用法5:表示按规定、计划或时间表将要发生的事。Examples:

Hestartsnextweek.

Weleaveverysoon.

Thetrainstartsat10o’clockinthemorning.注:

这类用法限于表示“移动”的动词:go去come来,leave离开,start出发,begin开始,

arrive到达,takeoff起飞,等。

用法5:表示按规定、计划或时间表将要发生Thepresentcontinuoustense现在进行时

Thepresentcontinuoustense现在用法:(1)表示动作现在正在发生或进行。可与now,atpresent,atthismoment,thesedays等时间状语连用,也可不用时间状语。如:Whatishedoingnow?他现在在做什么?Wearedoingourhomework.我们正在做作业。Iamnotwearingacoatasitisn’tcold.天气不冷,我没有穿外衣。用法:(1)表示动作现在正在发生或进行。可Whatis(2)表示现阶段正在进行的动作,但说话时该动作不一定正在进行。如:HeisteachingFrenchandlearningGreek.他在教法语,又在学希腊语。在说话的那一刹那,他可能既不在教也不在学。Gorgeistranslatingabooknow.乔治现在在翻译一本书。说话时,乔治不一定正在翻译,可能在做别的事。(2)表示现阶段正在进行的动作,但说话时该动(3)

表示反复发生的动作。常与always,forever,constantly,allthetime,continually,simply等时间副词连用。用来表示不满、抱怨或赞赏等情感。如:Sheisalwaysfindingfaultswithothers.她总是挑别人的毛病。Heisalwaysthinkingofothers.他总是为别人着想。(3)

表示反复发生的动作。常与always,Shei(4)表示最近的将来已定的安排(这是用于表示眼前打算的最普通的说法。)如:IammeetingPetertonightbecauseheistakingmetothetheatres.今天晚上我要跟彼得会面因为他要带我去看戏。—Areyoudoinganythingtomorrowafternoon?—Yes,IamplayingtenniswithAnn.—你明天下午有事吗?—有,我要跟安打网球。(4)表示最近的将来已定的安排(这是用(5)表示从一个地方到另一个地方的动词如arrive,come,drive,fly,go,leave,start,travel;表示位置移动的动词如stay,remain和动词do和have,它们的现在进行时表示没有具体安排好细节的决定或计划。如:WhatareyoudoingnextSunday?下星期六你准备做什么?Theneighborsarecomingtowatchtelevision.邻居要来看电视。(5)表示从一个地方到另一个地方的动词如Idon’treallyworkhere,I____untilthenewsecretaryarrives.A.
