2、函” on PPT. Ask: Whats this? I got an invitation from my sons headmaster yesterday. But I dont know what the invitation is about. Im so curious that I want to read it right now. 3、节3a (Content analysis) Lets read it together and say what the headmaster talks about in the invitation.First comes “Dear Parents,I would like to invite you to the opening of our new library at High School.” Well, what comes next? Can you guess? You can choose the answer from the following three sent

4、ences. (When we talk about the future time, we usually use simple future tense “will be”);Lets move on and see which of the three sentences is the next one. (“this” refers to the opening.)Well, which sentence comes next? (Do the same until the last sentence)1. Analyze and choose the right sentences

Now lets see what the headmaster writes in the invitation.First, we can see “Dear Parents”. That means the invitations is written to parents. Lets look at t

6、he first sentence. From this sentence we can know the invitation kind. Its an opening invitation. Then how to write in invitation kind? Yes, we can use “would like to inviteto”to talk about it. What is the next part about? How to write about places and time? How about the next sentence? Its about ac

7、tivities. How to talk about activities? We can use “After this,you can” What is the next sentence about? Its about gifts. How to talk about gifts? We can use “I would like to invite to bring” Lets look at the last sentence. Whats it about? Its about replies. How to talk about replies? “Please reply

8、in by” Just now we analyzed the sentences in the invitation. That is the body part. Finally, we can see the name “Larry Smith” and “Headmaster”. That means this invitation is from the headmaster. So, to write an invitation, we need three steps.Analyze the contents and structures of the invitation.带领
