Teaching processStep 1 Lead in (about 3 mins)Show Ss a picture of a family, and ask Ss to tell who are they.Step 2 Presentation (1a) (about 7 mins)Guid
4、e SS to list out Tinas family members. Have Ss complete the family tree independently in 1a, then invite one or two Ss to share his/her answer. Then have Ss read the words in 1a together.Step 3 Listening 1b, 1c (about 8 mins)Let Ss look at 1b and guess the content of the conversation.(family member)
5、Divide Ss into two groups to read the words in 1b.Have Ss listen to the recording and check the words they hear.Have Ss check their answer with partner and then check answer.Have Ss look at the pictures in 1c and guess which are Jiang Tao and Tom talking about. Listen again and check answer.Step 4 P
6、roduction ( about 8 mins)Play the record and ask Ss to complete the blanks.Let Ss read the listening materials after the tape one sentence by sentence. (pay attention to the rising tone and falling tone) Step 5 Group work 1c (about 10mins)Ask Ss to take out their picture of their family and friends,
