It is widely used for research and developtnenl in the electronic industry，such as design work，trouble shooting, signal tnoniloring and production

4、-line testing，and many other applications where the ob-servalion of an electrical wavefortn is desired.The heart of the oscilloscope is the cathode-ray tube which consists of the base，neck(in which an electron gun is included)，bulb and the face一plate( screen).The electron gun consists of a calh-ode，

One set of delleclion plates is used for moving the electron beam in horizontal direction. The other set is used to move the electron beam in vertical di-re
