3、owerresidualdeformationandexcellentdynamiccharacteristicsinvulcanizedrubbergoods.HighlyDispersibleSilicaTheincreasingdemandsonhighspecificationtiresrequiresnoveltreadcompounds,whichgrantlowrollingresistance,goodwinterperformance,longservicelifeandexcellenthandlingpropertiesonwetanddrysurfaces.HDSili
4、cadevelopedbyEvonikmeettheserequirementsincombinationwithabifunctionalSilaneascouplingagent.Especiallywithregardtohighlyefficientmixingcyclesandinparticularinordertoachieveaverygoodabrasionresistancelevel,todayHDSilicaisessential.ULTRASIL5000GRPrecipitatedsilicaforuseasareinforcementfillerintherubbe
5、rindustry.DuetothelowspecificBETsurfaceareaofapproximately115m2/gthehighlydispersibleULTRASIL5000GRcombinesexcellenthysteresisperformanceandhighreinforcementwithimprovedprocessingbehaviorinpassengercartiretreadcompounds.Thissilicaisespeciallysuitedtohighfillerloadingsfortheoptimizationofwetandwinter

7、rfaceareaofapproximately170m2/gthissilicaimpartstotreadcompoundsincombinationwithbifunctionalsilaneshighabrasionresistancecombinedwithexcellentrollingresistanceandwettraction.ConventionalSilicateMetalSilicatesareobtainedbyreplacingapartoftheacidusedduringtheprecipitationbymetallicsalts.Inrubbermixtu
8、resthesesilicatesofferprocessingandproductpropertieswhichcouldonlyhardlybeachievedbypureSilica.ULTRASIL880Precipitatedsilicaforuseasreinforcementfillerintherubberindustry.ULTRASIL880isaprecipitatedsilicawithaCalciumadmixtureandaverylowspecificBETsurfaceareaofapproximately35m2/g.Itgivesrubbermixtures
9、excellentresidualdeformationandextrusioncharacteristics.ULTRASIL880allowsprofileswithvirtuallynoswellingandaverysmoothsurface.EvenEPDMmixtureswithextremelyhighfillinggrades(upto200partsperhundredrubber)canstillbeeasilyprocessed.Inwhitemixtures,ULTRASIL880canpartiallybesubstitutedfortitaniumdioxide.T
10、heeffectofsulfuradsorptionisnegligible.ULTRASILAS7Precipitatedsodiumaluminumsilicateforuseasareinforcementfillerintherubberindustry.ULTRASILAS7isaprecipitatedaluminumsilicatewithalowspecificBETsurfaceareaofapproximately60m2/g.Itcombinesmediumreinforcementpropertieswithparticularlytrouble-freehandlin
11、gandprocessing.Thelatterallowsforhigherfillerpartsthanwouldbepossiblewithhighlyactiveprecipitatedsilica.BlendingwithULTRASILVN3orinactivefillersmakesitpossibletoadjustthereinforcementeffectwithinawiderange.ULTRASILVN2Precipitatedsilicaforuseasreinforcementfillerintherubberindustry.-UltrasilVN2signif
