The theme of this section is Understanding travel by Train across Canada, which tells the story of two sis

2、ters, Li Daiyu and Liu Qian, on their long journey from Vancouver to the Atlantic Coast from west to east.This section includes five reading comprehension activities.Activity 1 is thinking and discussing before reading. Activity 2 Train your reading strategies in this unit. Activity 3 guide the stud

3、ents to sort out and summarize the travel experiences of Li Daiyu and Liu Qian in time and space order by filling in the table, so as to achieve the purpose of information structure. Activity 4 guide the students to pay attention to the text markers once again and understand their functions in the c

4、ontext of the text.
