Because I like to make sick people better. 因为我想使病人好起来。 本例中的like to do sth.是“想要做”的意思,与want to do sth 的意思相近,因此本句可改写为:Because I w

7、ant to make sick people better. 但原句表达的意思更加强烈。要注意like to do sth.和like doing sth 所表达的含义的区别:两者都表示喜欢做某事,但like to do sth.常特指某个具体动作;而like doing sth. 泛指一般意义上的某个爱好。I like swimming.
