It belongs to the discipline platform courses. The objective of t

3、his course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business management, and to develop students abilities to analyze or solve problems in business context. By the end of the course, students should be able to identify the principals of managing formal organizations, recognize th

4、e various challenges faced by todays managers and give examples of organizations engaging in the management functions of decision making, planning, organizing, leading, controlling and innovation. These learning outcomes will provide a sound framework for further studies in business and commerce.Thi

5、s course serves as an introduction to the discipline of management. It is designed to integrate the accepted theories in the area with real world applications to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills needed for managing others. This course begins with a discussion of the current issue

6、s in management, a brief history of management, the managerial environment, integrative management issues and then proceeds to cover the traditional functions of management: decision making, planning, organizing, leading, controlling and innovation. Lecture and class assignments given in the course

7、are intended to help students understand the needs of modern public and private organizations, including emerging national and international trends. Through systematic learning this course, the students should master the basic concept, the theory and method of management, and form a certain practica

8、l skills, in order to adapt to the practical needs of management today.、Course Objectives 1. Moral Education and Character Cultivation.In the process of teaching the course, according to the teaching content, integrated into the spirit of the 19th CPC national congress, the socialist core values, Ch

9、inese excellent traditional culture education, especially four confidence of the socialism with Chinese characteristics and so on, highlight the value guidance, knowledge and ability training, all of these help students correct understanding the historical law, accurately grasp the basic national co

10、nditions and master the scientific world outlook and methodology, set up the correct world outlook and values, promote to analysis the relationship between management theory and practice, the relationship between the general abstract and the concrete application of management theory, the relationshi

11、p between organization activity of the management object and environment, Then, all of these help students tracks the historical evolution of management theory, abstract the general rules of management activities, analyzes the characteristics of management science, and guides the practical applicati
