The system calculates the effective inventory, and automatically generates proposed replenishment orders of each store type goods, then the formal supplier orders are formed after the procurement edit it according to the actual situation. The transit goods. These goods are not in stock, but str

Directly generate the Direct-orders of suppliers according to the arrival date, and sent them to the suppliers through EDI system.Processing goo

The Production Planner adjusted the orders based on actual demand, then sent them to the purchasing department to generate orders of raw materials.The logistics planLine plans: Adjust

Batch plan: Build batch processing and distribution according to the total number and vehicle, to achieve the recycling of resources and improve efficiency; In the plan, each line ar
6、e respectively assigned to each batch.Production plan : Decide a production plan according to the batch plan, to processing the large quantity of goods, and set processing orders of each line to ensure a coordination and distribution transport.Picking plan: Decide a picking plan according to the bat

11、he main process of the products circulation in our layoutFirst, in our design, there is a 1000 sq m2 large receiving area which is used to unload goods and test goods quality.Then, if the goods received are qualified, they will be recorded in our information systems. After that, the goods will be se
12、parated into 3 types and sent into different places. 1.Some goods will be sent into the warehouse as inventories and wait for delivery Another kind of goods which is needed immediately will be sent to cross docking area and 2.picking area and then be delivered directly. 3.Those semi-finished goods w
13、ill be sent into the distribution processing area which is used for packaging and simple processing.A brief description on the main process of the products circulation in our layoutAll these finished goods will be finally sent to the picking area, then be loaded, and delivered to different stores.Ne
14、xt to the receiving area and picking area, we designed either an area for unloading equipment storage and an area for loading equipment storage so that it will be easier and more efficient to load or unload goods. They both cover an area of 250 square meters.The receiving area is about 1000 square m
15、eters large and it includes an unloading area and an inspection area. The picking area is just as big as the receiving area and it also includes 2 parts, the loading area and the final inspection area.A brief description on the main process of the products circulation in our layoutThe warehouse area
16、 covers 12000 square meters altogether, which includes storage for ambient stock and that for cold stock.1.As ambient stock accounts for the majority of the total stock, we arranged a 7000 square meters area for it. This 7000 meters area includes an ambient stock warehouse and a cross docking area w
17、hich is used to store cross docking goods temporarily. The warehouse is connected with the picking area directly by conveyer belts. When goods are needed, we can send them to the picking area without any delay.2.In cold storage design, it can be seen clearly that the cold storage is in the storage a
18、rea. And it covers an area of 5000 square meters which is allowed for the rate of refrigerated goods in all. From the whole position to see, the cold storage is located in the center of the warehouse, which is in order to be able to easily will goods around it running so as to improve warehouse oper

There is a 1000 square meters large staff canteen which offers meals for our staff, a 1000-square meter-large offic
20、e including a meeting room and a 1000 square meters large parking lot including drivers facility.Warehouse management information systems and automationFirst of all Lianhua distribution center is used Warehouse Management System (WMS), this system has many obvious functions: business batch managemen
21、t, shelf life management which can provide for materials shelf life management and matured inventory warning, quality examination management, just-in-time inventory intelligent management, complimentary gift management and virtual warehouse management and so on.Warehouse management information syste
22、ms and automationThen this Lianhua distribution centre is applied Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) which can speed up the processing speed, improve the accuracy of sorting of goods, reduce the power cost and improve the reliability and achieve the maximum utilization efficiency of ware
23、house area and space. Warehouse automations cost is very high, but it is very necessary for this modern distribution centre of 20000 square meters. We can recoup capital by reducing the operation cost synthetically considered from medium-and long-term.Warehouse management information systems and aut
24、omationThirdly, Radio Frequency Identification (RRID) is applied to AS/RS. RFID can be in accordance with the warehouse shelves layout to manage location with visual and digital; it can complete inbound cargo scanning, staking and hitting shelves; it can speed up goods delivery of cargo from storage
25、 by installing RFID.ConclusionIn short, when designing for its distribution centers, we tried our best to maximize its storage capacity, working efficiency and accuracy. Lianhua supermarket receives a high popularity in China. It occupies a very large market share and a leading position in retailing
