2、级英语精读精解,西南交通大学出版社,2004年。课程简介高级英语2是一门训练学生综合英语技能尤其是阅读理解、语法修辞与写作能力的学科基础课,也是英语专业学生的必修课。通过阅读和分析内容广泛的材料,包括政治、经济、社会、语言、文学、教育、哲学等多方面的名家作品,扩大学生的知识面,进一步加深学生对社会和人生的理解。能读懂相当于The Great Gatsby的文学原著,难度相当于 The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich 的历史传记。同时,加强培养学生对名篇的分析和欣赏能力、逻辑思维与独立思考能力,进一步巩固和提高学生英语语言技能。考核方式平时成绩 30%期末考试

3、70%实验教学无毕业生应具有的知识、能力、素质1、具有良好的思想道德品质、较强的法制观念、较高的文化素养、文学意识修养以及较强的跨文化交际意识,具备健康的体魄和健全的心理素质。 2、较扎实地掌握现代英语语言的基础知识和基本理论,熟练掌握英语听、说、读、写、译的应用能力;掌握一定的英语国家文学、文化、历史、经济等方面的知识,并具备一定的国际视野,具有跨文化背景下进行沟通和交流的实践能力。 3、掌握国际商务基本理论、实务和相关法律法规知识,具备从事国际商务工作的基本能力。 4、基本掌握日语(二外)的基础知识,具有初步的听、说、读、写、译的能力。 5、较熟练地运用现代信息技术,掌握文献检索、资料查询
