10、of the pipes is not taken by the screen In locating the supports, take care to ensure that the pipes do not cause stress to the screen The supports must allow for thermal expansion of the pipes If not, connections and screen body will be damaged! Feed, accept, reject, reject dilution, rotor dilution

16、own in the flow sheet. Adjust the accept valve to the required flow with the feed valve fully open . Adjust the amount of flow to be discharged as reject with the reject valve. Stop the feed pump. Close the accept valve fully while t

19、he screen is still operating. Close the feed valve fully. Open the dilution valve in order to flush the reject and the fibers to reject treatment. Close the reject valve and open the air exhaust valve on the screen cover. Continue flushing until the liquid flowing from the air exhaust pipe no longer

20、 contains fibers. Unless it is necessary to open the cover and carry out a maintenance inspection, the screen can be left filled with water until the next start-up! Close the dilution, fresh water, and air exhaust valves. Stop the screen motor. Close the seal water valve. If the downtime is longer o

21、r intended for maintenance inspections, leave the air exhaust valve open and close only the dilution and fresh water valves. Stop the screen motor. Drain the screen by opening the drain valve. Stop ModuScreen, flush and drain the screen. Disconnect the motor from the electrical networ

32、k according to regulations. Remove the air exhaust connection of the cover, open cover and move aside. Unscrew the mounting screws of the spacer ring and lift off the spacer ring . Detach the screen cylinder from its fitting by screwing two spacer ring mounting screws into two opposite threaded hole

33、s M12 in the screen cylinder . Screw two lifting eyes into two opposite M12 holes and lift off the screen cylinder.Screen cylinder - dismountingWash detached parts, inspect potential wear, inspect the condition of the O-ringat the bottom end of the screen cylinder.12 34. Lower the screen cylinder in

34、to ModuScreen. Ensure that the cylinder is straight. The fitting at the bottom end and the anti-torsion screws at the top end guide the screen cylinder into place. . Install the spacer ring into place. When the spacer ring is properly in its place, install the mounting screws of the spacer ring. . T

35、ighten the screws with a torque wrench to a tightness of 60 Nm crosswise following the numbering in following picture. If there are more screws than in the figure, follow the same principle as to the order in which the screws are tightened. . Place the cover back into place and tighten the mounting

37、aft: . THINLY OIL THE SHAFT END, ROTOR HUB AND OUTER AND CONICAL SURFACES OF THE FIXING SLEEVE. Attach two eyescrews into the holes on the rotor hub and lift the rotor onto the shaft. Mount the fixing sleeve part by part in accordance with the following picture Mount the lower conical ring of the fi

38、xing sleeve into place Place the central sleeve on top of the lower conical ring so that the slits in the parts meet each other Mount the upper conical ring (1) so that the slits in the parts meet each other. With a torque spanner, tighten the screws of the fixing sleeve evenly cross-wise, little by

39、 little. Tighten the screws on both sides of the slit after one another. Tighten all screws until they have reached the given tightening torque. 123The rotor must be removed for maintenance purposes or for the inspectionof the mechanical seal or the bearing unit.
