1、 iModule4WhichEnglish?教学设计说明话题介绍本模块主题为不冋国家间英语的差异,并引入了与此有关的词汇。要求学生了解上述内容并掌握有关的词汇,培养有关的语言技能。Period1ReadingandVocabulary(1)INTRODUCTIONVocabularyandreading和READINGANDVOCABULARY合并为第一课时“阅读课”。课文“WhichEnglish?”属说明文体,介绍了英国、澳大利亚、牙买加和新加坡四个说英语的国家。在学生课前自学、预习的基础上,以背景介绍导入新课,然后采取“自上而下”的阅读教学模式,引导学生关注文章的篇章结构、段落大意,得出
2、“树型图”,进行“信息转换”,理解全文、复述意义。教师还可以参考“教学资源”TheAnalysisoftheDifficultSentencesfromModule4WhichEnglish?中的材料,帮助学生解决字、词、句等方面的问题。Period2ReadingandVocabulary(2)ReadingandVocabulary“TheFutureofEnglish为阅读课,介绍了当今英语对世界的影响和发展趋势,配有三个相关活动。通过快速阅读了解文章大意,再精读回答相关问题,充分理解文章结构及重点词、句。Period3ReadingPracticeReadingPractice“Col
3、ourfulEnglish也是阅读课。阅读内容为英语中的成语和谚语等。分为七个活动,围绕课文展开。Activity1为读前活动;Activities2-4帮助学生抓文早的主旨;Activity5为细节理解;Activities6-7以文早内容为基础,组织学生开展说和与。Period4CulturalCorner课本55页“文化阅读课/CULTURECORNER”的主题为ChineseasaForeignLanguage汉语作为一门外语。该部分介绍了汉语作为一门外语来学习的有关情况:世界各国的关注度、人们对汉语发生兴趣的原因、中国政府采取的对外汉语考试制度等。“文化阅读课”和“阅读课”的区别是:

26、见你就认出了你。注意:nosoonerthan,hardlywhen,scarcelywhen这三个结构意为“一就”相当于assoonas,均可引导时间状语从句,但只能用于过去时,即主谓语用过去完成时,从句用一般过去时。Nosooner,hardly,scarcely置于句首时,主句要部分倒装。如:我一到家,天就下起雨来了。可译为:AssoonasIcamehome,itbegantorain.Ihadnosoonercomehomethanitbegantorain.Ihadhardly/scarcelycomehomewhenitbegantorain.NosoonerhadIcomeho
27、methanitbegantorain.Hardly/scarcelyhadIcomehomewhenitbegantorain.地点状语从句地点状语从句通常由where,wherever等引导。如:Helivedwhereheliked.他住在他喜欢的地方。Wherethereisawill,thereisaway.有志者,事竟成。(谚语)Wherevertheywent,theywerewarmlywelcomed.他们所到之处都受到热烈欢迎。原因状语从句原因状语从句通常由because,since,as,nowthat等引导。如:Hedidntattendthemeetingbecaus
28、ehehadtoomuchworktodo.他因为要干的活太多没来参加会议。Sincehecantanswerthequestion,youbetterasksomeoneelse.既然他回答不了这个问题,你最好问别人吧。AsIhaventseenthefilm,IcanttellyouwhatIthinkofit.由于我没看过这部电影,所以谈不出对它有什么看法。Nowthatyouhavecome,youmaystay.你既然来了,就留下吧。、I注意:for也可表“原因”,语气较弱,有时可与because换用,但它是并列连词,它连接的句子并不总是原因,有时可能对前面的分句提出推断的理由,不能
