1、初中8A第9单元第5课时襄阳市宜城市汉江中学刘冬梅从事英语教学工作工作简历:1991年毕业于襄阳师范专科学校一直现教班级:七(3)、七(4)班教学质量自评:优秀校办联系电话:4213201个人联系电话esson Plan of Unit9When was he born?(第5课时)教材内容分析本单元以我们敬仰、熟知的人物为话题,以人物过去的成长经历为线索,进一步学习过去时态,尤其是以when, how long 引导的特殊问句及以when 引导的状语从句。通过各种学习活动,学生能够谈论他们崇拜的人。本课时教学内容为Section B的 3a-4。在前两课时,教材已编

2、排了听、说材料及阅读文章来学习过去时态及when 引导的状语从句,它们为本课时的教学打好了基础。本课时的3a是一篇关于年青的钢琴家李云迪的成长事迹和成就的文章。它鼓舞人心,催人奋进。文中融入了丰富的词汇,反复出现一般过去时和when引导的状语从句,使本单元的目标语言得到复习与巩固,拓展与升华。3b是要求写一篇限制性作文:根据所给信息仿3a 描述一个人物;3c是写一篇开放性作文:你崇拜的人。3b是架起3a到3c的桥梁。活动4是小组活动,灵活应用目标语言进行交际。本课时在本单元中起着重要的作用。它使本单元的话题更丰满,使目标语言更丰富,它也是对本单元作总结归纳。更重要的是学生能用学到的词汇和目标语

3、言解决实际问题描述或谈论他们崇拜的人。从而达到听、说、读、写全面提高。本课时的编排符合学生认知特点,遵循教学规律。教学目标知识目标:学生能熟练掌握词汇:well-known, pianist, could, hum, piece, accordion, take part in, Poland, alive, athlete .:学生能理解并应用目标语言:When he was, he could humHe began / started to learn when he was four years old / at the age of four.He took part in, he

4、wonIs he alive?Was he an athlete?:学生能读懂文章并能简单地讲述人物事迹。能力目标用目标语言写他们崇拜的人。过程与方法泛读文章了解名人事迹,精读文章学习词汇及语法结构;任务型活动讲述名人事迹。从限制性写作过渡到开放性创新写作;再小组活动运用目标语言进行交际。情感态度与价值观学生能激起对名人的仰慕之情,并以名人为榜样,奋发向上,趁早努力学习,追求卓越。Teaching procedure教学过程Before the class , the sdudents can collect the information or events of some famous p

7、 music in the 14th Chopin International Piano Competition, the teacher talks with the sdudents ,and at the same time present the simple words: well-known, pianist.Then lead into 3a.学生观看李云迪在第14届肖邦国际钢琴比赛中弹奏的B小调肖邦谐谑曲,同时与学生交谈,并在语境中呈现两个简单的生词:well-known, pianist。然后导入3a的阅读。(Class work)T: Who is the young g
