10、on - General.GENERALScope(Add): This specification contains minimum requirements for pumps, their spare parts and accessories (if other special specifications are not valid).Alternative Designs(Add): Alternative designs deviating from this specification, but suitable for the operating conditions, ma

11、y be offered in addition. Deviations from this specification shall be specified in the proposal for approval by Purchaser.Conflicting Requirements(Add): The Vendor has to bring discrepancies to Purchasers attention.Definition of Terms(Add): The term Purchaser* as used in this specification shall ref

12、er to LINDE and/or its authorized representatives.The term Vendor as used in this specification shall refer to manufacturer of the equipment including his subcontractors.Referenced Publications(Mod): Instead of the U.S. publications shown in API 676, the equivalent German standards, codes and specif

13、ications, respectively standards, codes and specifications applicable for the plant, are valid.BASIC DESIGNGeneral(Add): All components, including drivers and gears, shall be suitable for a loading based on the maximum rated design pressure.(Add): The maximum allowable sound level and the requiremen

14、ts for noise control are specified separately.(Add): NPSHR shall be at least 1 m (3 ft) lower than NPSHA.(Mod): All electrical components and installations shall be suitable for the area classification and grouping specified on the Pumps - Technical Specification - General* and/or Data Sheet4.(Add):

15、 All equipment covered by this specification shall be suitable for operation outdoors, totally unprotected from the weather.(Newpara): In case the operating and/or plant conditions require cooling or heating, appropriate jackets shall be provided at the pump.Operating and rated design conditions of

16、the utility systems will be specified in Data Sheet* and/or Pumps - Technical Specification - General. The Vendor shall specify the required quantities of the utilities in the Data Sheet4.Ratings and Speeds(Add): Anticipated process variations are specified in Data Sheet.(Add): The maximum allowable

17、 working pressure and temperature are specified in Data Sheet,.Pressure Casings2.3.9 (Mod): Operating and design conditions for the cooling/heating system are specified on Pumps - Technical Specification - General4.Casing Connections(Mod): Inlet and outlet connections shall be flanged and shall have

18、 the same pressure rating. Exceptions will be especially agreed.(Mod): Design and rating of flanges are specified on Pumps - Technical Specification - General* and/or Data Sheet.(Add): Design of casing vent and drain are specified on Pumps - Technical Specification - General* and/or Data Sheet4.(Add

19、): The Vendor shall specify the maximum allowable forces and moments for the pump nozzles.(New para): Flange connections shall be designed for through-bolting. In case the flanges are not according to DIN or ANSI standard, the Vendor shall show all dimensions (thickness, diameter, etc.) on the outli

20、ne drawing.(Newpara): When pressure gauge connections shall be provided, this will be specified separately.Rotating Elements(Add): Rotors and shaft shall be stiff enough for the conditions at rated design pressure and temperature.(Newpara): The major rotating parts shall be dynamically balanced to G

21、rade G2,5 of ISO 1940.(Newpara): The effective vibration velocity (unfiltered) at the bearing housing of the pump shall not exceed 3,0 mm/s in vertical, horizontal and axial direction.Mechanical Seals and Conventional Packing(Mod): If not specified otherwise, mechanical seals shall be used.(Mod): Gl

22、ands shall be bolted for all pumps equipped with mechanical seals.(Add): Mechanical seals shall be of the hydraulically balanced type. 26、re casings have to be approved by the Purchasers material inspection department prior to repair.2.9.2.5 (New para): For construction weldings special specifications are valid. These shall be requested from the Purchaser, if required.2.9.3 (Mod): At allowable pumping temperature (temperature at rated

28、r diameter (maximum and installed)Casing hydrostatic test pressureRated design pressureRated design temperatureAdditionally, the item number and the casing hydrostatic test pressure shall be stamped on the discharge flange.ACCESSORIESDrivers(Add): The Purchaser will specify and furnish the pump driv

29、er (motor). For pumps with common base plate, the driver will be shipped directly to Vendors work shop for installation of the coupling, mounting and alignment of the whole unit by the Vendor. For pumps with separate base plate the Vendor shall ship the driver coupling half (completely machined!) to

30、 the driver manufacturer, if not specified otherwise.In case the driver is not a standard electrical motor, an outline drawing of the driver will be supplied to the Vendor.The Vendor shall provide all informations to enable the Purchaser to order the driver 3 weeks after pump purchase order.(Add): A

31、nticipated process variations that may affect the sizing of the driver will be especially specified in Data Sheet.(Add): See Pumps - Technical Specification - General and/or Data Sheet.(Add): See Pumps - Technical Specification - General and/or Data Sheet.(Mod): Belt and chain drives are not accepta

32、ble.(Newpara): Gears for positive displacement pumps - rotary shall be pump Vendors standard.Couplings and Guards3.2.2 (Add): Coupling manufacturer and type will be specified on Data Sheet1 and/or Pumps - Technical Specification - General.The coupling hubs shall have cylindrical fits. Use of taper f

33、its will be especially specified.Couplings shall be dynamically balanced.Baseplates(Add): Drain-rim or drain-pan baseplates suitable for grouting shall be furnished.(Mod): The baseplates shall be a fabricated steel unit.(Add): Baseplates with lift lugs shall be provided.(Mod): Anchor bolts shall be

34、supplied by the Vendor.(Add): The baseplate and pedestal support assembly shall be sufficiently rigid to be mounted without grouting. If the baseplate w川 not be grouted, it will be especially specified.(Add): Replaceable shims to compensate the tolerances shall be supplied by Vendor.Relief Valves(Mo

Each cooling point shall be furnished with a manual regulating valve in the inlet line and a closed sight flow indicator in the outlet line.All parts of auxiliary systems of the mechanical seals shall be supplied with material

37、 resistant to the liquid, but at least of stainless steel.(Mod): Brass and bronze shall not be used. Use of galvanized pipe will be especially specified.INSPECTION AND TESTSGeneral(Add): The tests and inspections required by the Vendor shall be specified in the proposal.Tests and inspections require

38、d by the Purchaser for specific items will be specified in purchase order and/or Data Sheet4.All inspections and tests shall be carried out by the Vendor. The inspections and tests witnessed by the Purchaser will be agreed with the Vendor and noted in purchase order and/or Data Sheet.Inspection(Add)

39、: The Vendor shall send all certificates and test data for the required tests and inspections to the Purchaser.Tests(Add): The following tests shall be performed on all pumps:Certified material test in accordance with Data SheetCertified hydrostatic testCertified performance testOther required tests

40、 will be specified in Data Sheet and/or purchase order.(Mod): The Vendor shall notify the Purchaser not less than ten (10) working days prior to the date of all agreed tests and inspections, so that the Purchaser may be present. After receipt of this notification the Purchaser will decide whether to

41、 be present.(Mod): Minimum test pressure shall be 1,5 times rated design pressure.Minimum test period shall be 30 minutes.(Newpara): For the performance test, the Purchasers driver shall not be used, if not specified especially. A calibrated test shop motor shall be used for performance testing.(Add

42、): If required, NPSH tests are specified on the Data Sheet,.(Add): The test conditions are the rated conditions with the usual speed allowances of the motors.
