1、 一. 动名词做主语的用法 1.表示经常性、习惯性的动作;抽象的或泛指的动作, 谓语动词用单数.在口语中也可以表示具体的动作。如： Seeing is believing. Its rather tiring walking around in a city. 2、this was wrong.（指抽象动作）（指具体动作）.2. 动词-ing形式作主语时常后置, 用it作形式主语，用形容词或名词作表语。常见的作表语的名词或短语有：no use, no good, fun, hard work, a hard / difficult job, a wonder, a waste of time等。如：Is it worthwhile quarrelling with her?Its no good waiting here. Lets go home. It was a waste of time reading that book.归纳：常用-ing形式

3、作主语的句型有：It +be +a waste of time doing 做是浪费时间的It is/was no good/use doing 做是没益/用处的It is/was hardly/scarcely worth doing 做不值得It is/was worth/worthwhile doing 做是值得的There is no doing 无法 ， 不允许.3. “There is + no”后可以用动词-ing形式作主语，表示“没法”。如：There was no telling when this might happen again. 没法预料这样的事什么时候会再发生。T
