1、第十五讲完形填空【知识衔接】初高中课程解读初中课程高中课程初中英语中,完形填空突出 语篇,即重在文意的干扰, 把具体的语言知识融进具体 的语言情境中去,要求具备 通过上下文对整体文意进行 把握的能力。高中英语中,完形填空侧重于考查词语 搭配、近义词辨析、动词时态、句型结 构、复合句的关联和习惯用法等,又考 查逻辑推理和事理推断能力。要求具备 用英语获取信息和处理信息,分析问题 和解决问题的能力。初中知识回顾一.完形填空的特点完形填空是一种旨在考查考生的阅读能力、逻辑推理及分析归纳、综合判断能力的典型题,难易程度与初中教材相当, 词数在180-250左右。文中平土每隔25个词左右设一空。人名、地
2、 名、日期等不在设空之列。隔词数越少,题目越难;反之亦然。文体多以记叙文为主,首句通常不设空。考查内容集中在对名词、动词、代词、形容词和副词等实词的理解上。完形填空考查的就是能否在缺字,不认得字、词语的情况下,能否通过推理判断、综合分析等全面理解文章的正确意思,然后把答案填入空白处,使短文前后连贯、意思通顺、结构完整合理。二.完形填空解题步骤与要领第一步:细读首句,跳过空格,通读全文,掌握大意细读首句:明确短文话题,了解篇章结构 ,预测全文内容。跳过空格,快速通读,领会大意,把握中心。生词的处理:跳过、判断词性、了解大意、猜测。第二步:上下联系,逐句阅读,先易后难,初定答案。 答案要求 语法正
3、确,搭配无误,结构完整,意思通顺,前后一致,逻辑得当。怎样分析: A.从空格所在的句子单独考虑。B.从空格所在的前后 2-3句考虑。C.从整个段落、整篇短文考虑。思路一:分析句子结构,从语法和句型结构考虑。思路二:理解句子含义,判断句义关系,从词汇的意义、用法和搭配考虑。思路三:把握整体意思,寻找答题线索,从上下文考虑。思路四:结合前后语境,进行逻辑推理,从日常生活常识考虑。第三步:复读全文,逐个核对,验证答案,坚定信心。怎样验证答案:牛所选答案是否能使全文流畅,逻辑推理是否正确。具体实事是否成立,前后关系是否理顺。B语法是否正确,其中包括时态的选择、词汇选择、固定搭配等。在通读全文时最好在可
4、能的条件下将所选答案填入文章中,反复阅读。三.解题技巧1.上下兼顾、明确定位根据文章的上下文和前后句,寻找对选择有提示作用的词或句。这些词有时可能就是同义词或反义词。如:Some parts of the water are very shallow. 12、是完整的,以期给考生创造一个语境,给考生以提示。.情景意义选择为主,语法选择填空为辅:完形填空考查的重点是以对文章的通篇理解和 词汇意义为主,以考查惯用搭配、常识和语法为辅。.单词填空为主,短语或词组的整体填空为辅。.逻辑性强:实词即所谓信息词汇为主(实词中以动词、名词、形容词和副词为主),虚 词为辅。.高中完形填空解题步骤.通读全文,了解大意。 首先把文章通读一遍,了解文章的大概内容。千万不要读一句填一句。跳过空格,浏览全文, 从整体上感知全文,理解文章大意,这是解题的基础。在掌握了短文大意之后,才可边读短 文边选择答案。在阅读过程中,也许有些答案会在脑海中浮现, 有些觉得很有把握或是不大,
13、 这时最好不要急于动笔,先读完。同时,要根据首句来推测文章大意,这对理解全文有重要的启示作用。首句常常包含解题有用的信息,由此可判断文章的大意或主题,还可据此解题。如果能顺利地理解开头的主题, 就能较快地领悟全文的主旨,理解的准确率也会大大提高。其次,在做完形填空时,要注意文章的题材,比如说故事类,说明类,等等。.瞻前顾后,逐步填空。由于完形填空的短文是一个意义完整、上下关联的语篇,它所讨论的是同一主题,行文中的替代现象和词语重复都是不可避免的。因此在解答时,应该瞻前顾后, 寻找相关线索,如同 义、近义词,有时甚至要直接搬用文章中的词语或短语。如果是语法问题,不仅要考虑时态、语态,还要考虑整个
14、词法、句法。如果是语义问题,就要从上下文分析,依据短文自身完整 的语言环境进行合乎逻辑的推理判断。在第一步理解文章大意的情况下,结合各选项的意义和用法, 遵循先易后难的原则, 先解决那些自己有把握的问题。对少数难题,通常情况下比较少,首先心态要好,暂时跳过,或许 在上文中难以判断的题在下文中就有暗示或者明显的提示,或许一个在前面不能解答的题在填出了另一空后会豁然开朗。同时,在做完形填空时,要注意中西方文化方面的差异,这将会大大简化复杂的分析与判断过程,节省宝贵的时间,顺理成章地选出正确的答案。.认真复查,相信第一感觉。(1)检查上下文的一致性:即时态、语态的一致,代词、名词、单复数的一致。(2
15、)检查表达法的习惯性:即习惯用语、固定搭配、句型词组是否符合习惯。(3)检查上下文的连贯性:及凭借语感,按照上下文,检查段落与段落,句子与句子之间的衔接是否连贯。这是检查中至关重要的一环,往往能纠正一处甚至多处错误。填空全部完成后,还要通读一遍,检查是否前后贯通、内容清楚、主题突出。复读过程中,如果有某些地方意义含混或矛盾,就应该依据文章的中心意思来重新考虑或者根据自己的第一感觉。三.高中完形填空解题技巧一、关注短文的语义场I .同一语义场的话题具有一致性。一般来说,在同一语义场内(通常是文章的一个小段落)其中心话题不会改变,可以利用段落的中心话题来确定试题的答案。如:I used to be
