1、典范英语(4a-L20)教学参考A Monster Mistake教学参考的目的在于为实验课提供一个基本的思路和框架,帮助实验教师更好地把握课题理念。课题组鼓励实验教师结合学生的实际情况适当做出调整,将实验课上出特色。一、教学目标1. 语言能力目标:学生能够听懂故事;能够惟妙惟肖地模仿;能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事;能够理解故事并组织语言复述故事情节;能发挥想象力续写故事。2. 非语言能力目标:通过让学生观察故事,想象一家人独特的度假经历,培养学生的观察力和想象力;了解相关文化背景;通过推想未知的故事细节,培养逻辑推断能力。二、安排要求每周不少于两,每周至少完成一个故事。鼓励学生课前预习。三、教

2、师要求1. 教师课前须熟读故事,了解相关文化背景:尼斯湖水怪(The Loch Ness Monster),是地球上最神秘的也最吸引人的谜之一。早在1500 多年前,就开始流于苏格兰高原的尼斯湖中有巨大怪兽常常出来吞食人畜的故事。一些人甚至宣称曾目击过这种怪兽,它的形象一向都是蛇颈龙一般的生物。每年都有世界各地的游客前往参观,希望一睹真容。同时,它也吸引着许多科学家和探险家的目光。对于较难的单词,教师可板书,并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。全英文授课。四、教学用具多设备、CD 机、课件(课题组提供)。五、课堂教学基本步骤1. 导入(Lead-in):谈论尼斯湖水怪,引入故事情境展示与故事相关的,

3、让学生了解相关文化背景,为看图讲故事做好铺垫。教师展示几张与尼斯湖水怪(The Loch Ness Monster)有关的 Whats this? (BQ: Is it a monster?)Wheres it? (BQ: Is it in a lake?)(见课件),提问:学生回答后,教师简单介绍及相关文化背景,然后过渡到讲故事环节:Its a pictureof the monster in Loch Ness in Scotland. It is saidt there is a monsterhe lake. But no oneknows if it is a real monste

Lets2. 看图讲故事(Storyling):理解故事情节,了解怪物事件的经过,培养观察力和想象力教师利用课件逐幅故事,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘色地讲故事,让学生观察怪物恶作剧事件的始末及其影响。(Picture 1)Mum and Gran went on holiday. They went to Scotland in Grans new car. Do you think it was real?教师要注意启发学生思考,每次提问之后稍作停顿,不要急于说出,先观察学生的反应,如学生仍回答,再进一步给出提示引导学生作答。3. 听模仿(Listening and Imiing):听懂并模仿出标准的语音语调听模仿时,是什么音什么调,就让学生模仿成什么音什么调,引导学生通过读体会故事人物的情感和

15、心理活动,体会故事本身的节奏感。放放,让学生完整地听一遍故事,整体输入,不需停顿。,全班学生齐声模仿 1-2 遍。要求学生逐句跟读,鼓励学生大胆开口,读出戏剧化效果,读出人物情感,读出故事节奏感。另外,尤其要注意引导学生用十分惊奇的语气读“A real monster.”,用无奈和责怪的语气读“Oh Gran! said Mum. Now look what youvedone.”,用自信和戏谑的语气读“A monster? she said. There is no such thing.”。4. 朗读故事(Reading Dramatically):读懂故事并能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事通过

16、多种形式的朗读,让学生能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事,培养学生有感情地朗读故,练就扎实的语言基本功。(1)分角色朗读。先让学生说出主要故事人物(Biff, Chip, Kipper, Gran, Mum)。然后事的请几名学生扮演 Biff、Chip、Kipper、Gran 和 Mum 进行分角色朗读故事,其他学生齐读旁白。(2)独立朗读。让几名学生读一读自己认为最有趣的一幅。朗读过程中,教师要对有朗读或问题的学生给予指导和示范。5. 检查理解(Story Comprehen):概括故事要点,加深对故事情节的理解教师围绕 Gran 设计怪物恶作剧的过程和结果提出问题,引导学生概括故事主要事件,完成故

17、事结构图,加深对故事内容的理解,进而复述故事。(1)教师将提前打印好或短语卡片贴在黑板一侧,短语参考如下:went on holiday in a cottage by a lake; paed a monster; bought a monster and a card; made a monster; came to see; told everyone about the trick; was sorry; no such thing(2)教师在黑板上画出故事结构图,然后就怪物恶作剧事件提问,请学生回答并将关键词卡贴在故事结构的相应位置。问题可参考:Part I BeginningWhe

19、整故事结构图如下:6. 采访( erview):培养学生提问能力和现场反应能力教师请一名学生扮演 Gran 接受采访,其他学生扮演电视(TV reporters)。教师鼓励学生大胆提问,除了 yes/no 回答的问句和 what, when, where, who 引导的问句外,也要引导学生多多提出how, why 引导的问句。如学生提问和回答遇到的帮助和指导。教师可给出一些问题作为参考,如:Why did you make the monster?,教师要给予及时When did you put ithe lake?Who came to see the monster?How do you

20、 feel about the monster trick? e you ever seen a monster?Do you think there are real monstershe lake?7.(Discus):想象故事细节,培养逻辑思维能力教师围绕故事话题(Monster trick)提出问题,让学生展开。(1)教师提出问题,学生分组。Kipposted a card to Dad before the monster trick.
