The third, we know we are trying to use the new teaching system to teach students, when we are teaching the students, we like to divide the class into many teams, and in these teams, the members should teach each other and help each other, they are

6、 learning from each other, but they are teaching each other!And we know when we learn something, if we try to understand it, and imagine that we should teach others, we can learn it well, so I think if we are learning, we can suppose we are teaching! That will be helpful for us to study we

7、ll; if we want to teach others, we should learn it by ourselves, and know it first, so learning is teaching! 2Be a good observer in the classroomI think one of the most basic requirements in a good lesson is to pay attention to each student.So we must observe them at any moment in the classroom. Of

8、course,to observe the students faces is a important step.If they look excited and active,they must be fond of the class.But they look blank and dull,they may be unwilling to have the class.In my class,I always observe all the students faces , especially poor students.I have a student.He is a boy.But

9、 hes very shy.His name is Xia Yangqing.In the past,he was afraid of English and failed in talking.When he talked English with others ,he would feel nervous. He always keeped silent in class. Many students said Xia Yangqing was a bad boy.They didnt want to play with him.I know he must be very sad.So

10、I often had the sense to call him to answer some easy questions in class.If he answered well,I would praise him at once. Gradually,he had a little confidence.I always tell him:”Yangqing,well done! I believe you!Youre the best!”Since then he changed .He began to enjoy talking.Now he finds its easy to

11、 talk . He has more confidence in English.He doesnt feel nervous in class no longer. He succeeds .Im very happy to see his growth.If one student has some trouble in learning English,he must be expressed in his face. So lets read the students face at any moment.Maybe a smiling face or a sentence from

12、 our teachers will change the child's life.【原创】Be A Good Observer In The Classroom Personally in my opinion, if you want to have a good lesson, you must prepare rich Teaching and learning materials. You must prepare some teaching methods. But its the most important

So that you can control your class freely.Now Id like to share one of my teaching stories with you.When I taught fruits, first I learned more fruits words than the ones in the book and prepared some teaching methods.In the class, according to the situation, I

14、designed to use a guessing game. I described one fruit, then the students guessed. For example, the riddle is “Its round, its sour or sweet , its juicy,its red or green or purple or pink or yellow.” The answer is grape. But as we know, the students like to say the answer before we say start. When I

15、said its round. They guessed immediately. Some students shouted “apple”! Some students shouted “ watermelon”! Some students shouted “ plum”! And so on. I was surprised . *! So many answers! But I was very happy , because I believed that its a good practice method. Its better than what I designed. So

16、 I used this method at once. I smiled to them and said, “ Which one is right? Please continue to listen to me ,OK?” They said “OK” together cheerfully, then listened to me quietly. I continue to say“Its sour or sweet.”This time, they didnt say “watermelon”. Then we continue to guess. Their answers b

17、ecame less and less. At last they said the right answer “grape”. We felt the guessing game was very interesting and helpful. Its beneficial to arouse the students imagination.I always observe my students response in the class. And change the teaching methods according to their need. I think Im a goo

18、d observer. Do you think so?3. I listen to my students attentivelyIn my classes, I like the students to listen to me carefully, I think its a good habit. And I also listen to them attentively. I never stop them suddenly, no matter their answers are right or fault. I always let them express themselve

19、s freely. They are very happy. Im happy , too. Because I learn a lot from them. Different people have different ideas. Maybe, most of the people will say confidence can make students successful. Really? I dont thi

25、nk so! If a student is in poor health ,he always feels tired, can he be successful to do everything? If a student has no aim and no plan, can he be successful to do everything? “No , he cant, its impossible!” So, I think, no good health no success; no plan no success! It is very important to keep go

26、od health for students. On the one hand, students with good health can do schoolwork with full confidence and their progress can bring them happiness . On the other hand, a sick student is usually not interested in everything around him ,so he loses many opportunities to become successful. How to ke

27、ep healthy? There are many ways to keep it. First, those who are always busy with their schoolwork from morning to evening should find time to relax because too much stress is bad for health. Second, students should have enough time to sleep because sleeping well can make students rested and refresh

28、ed. Finally, regular physical exercises benefit one's health a lot. So one should always keep in mind that a certain amount of exercise is not a waste of time.    Many students feel that they never have enough time to practice playing the piano or play with their friends and they

29、have no time to relax. Instead, they are studying and doing their homework. School and homework ; activities and chores; sleeping and eating. There are so many things to do in a day! Students are under too much pressure every day. But they cant change the speed of time or get more. What should they

30、do ?What can they do ? What they can do, however , is to plan it. That means they should:Think about everything they have to do and want to do.Know how much time each activity takes.Make a plan that helps them get through the day, week or month.If the students learn how to plan the time well, they m

What can we do when a student fails in talkingwhat can we do when a student fails in talkingWhen we are giving some English lessons, we want to talk with the students in class as more as we can as a measure of practicing oral English. But, unfortunately, the students ar

39、e shy and timid and forgetful, as a result, the students fail in talking from time to time. Thats really a big problem. I always thinking of the reason, why the students cant open their mouth and say just a bit simple English that learned ago. As time goes by, I get a little reason and know what to

40、do to deal with it a little.First, the language environment is very important. If the people surrounding are talking in English, how can you say Chinese? So, as a starting point, I put the English contents on the wall, on the blackboard, and even outside the classroom. When they walk past, they can

41、see it, sometimes, they will read it, sometimes, they will talk about it, thats the first way to render the English environment.Second, we can rearrange the classroom schema, for example, group the students into six or change the desks into round shape from the square. And sometimes, we can try to l

42、et the students answer questions without stand up. It can somewhat relieve the tension of students.Third, the usage of encouragement is very important for especially our primary school students. Whatever they say or whether it is right is not the most important, but however they can say or not is mo

43、re important. Everyone likes to be praised, praise means confirmation. Although the answer is not right this time, he will not be afraid next time.Finally, give students more space to answer. The wider range of answers will arouse more students to answer. The more answer you plan, the more students

44、will take part into your talking. So, when students fail in talking, dont be nervous yourself, dont blame the students. Try to think more, and plan more, you will get more.7. How to train a good group leader(1)Good morning, everyone. I am very glad to have the chance to speak here. Today my topic is

45、 : How to train a good group leader? As teachers, we have so many things to do. Its impossible for us to do everything by ourselves, so it is very necessary for us to train some group leaders to help us. A good group leader can help teachers finish many tasks and improve himself during the process.

46、But how to train a good group leader?First, observe carefully. In every class, I will pay attention to each students actions: the pronunciation; the feelings of answering my questions; the activities of making dialoguesIf someone likes English, although he isnt quite good at English; he is creative

47、and imaginative, he can come up with more ideas to enliven the lessons; he always takes active parts in class; he is willing to help other students learn English better and good at organization and management, I will choose him to be the group leader.(2)Personally in my opinion, its not a good teach

48、er to do everything by himself. We should train some good group leaders to help us. But how to train a good group leader? I do that in three steps. Identify candidates, Focus on training and give them the opportunity/chances to practice.Step 1, I carefully observe the behavior of the students. If so

49、me one study English well, like to help others, get along well with others, be good at organization and management. I identify him to be the candidate of a group leader. I usually identify some candidates.Step 2, focus on training . In the classes, I often ask them to read first, to answer questions

50、, to help others read in pair work or group work, to check the homework for me, and so on. So that other students think theyre very great and worth trusting.Step 3, its also the most important step that I give them the chances to practice. For example, when we learned PEP Primary English Book 7 Unit

51、 4 I Have A Pen Pal, A Lets learn, Whats Your Hobby? I like collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin and making kites. First I asked the group leaders to read the question sentence Whats Your Hobby? Then I asked them to check their group members. Second, I asked them to read the

52、phrases . Then they checked their group members, too. Third, I asked them to make a dialogue with the question sentence and phrases like this, Whats Your Hobby? I like collecting stamps. After making some dialogues, I check all the group leaders, next to I asked them to check their group members. Th

53、en I asked them to make a survey in their groups. The group leaders should help their members finish the task. At last, every group leader did a report , such as Toms hobby is playing the violin. Jerrys hobby is riding a bike. Sometimes I asked the group members to do the report, so that I can find

58、lass just a week ago. What should I do? I smiled to her and said,Dont be nervous, I believe you can do it well. Just have a try. But she still kept in silence. I had to let her sit down, but I said to her with a smile on my face, “Listen carefully and later try it again, OK?” She smiled ,too. After

59、another two dialogues , she raised her hand confidently. Did she do a good job? Of course! Since then, shes never nevus in class and seldom fails in talking. I think , as a student, shes successful. As a teacher, Im successful , too.Yes?I often say to my students, “In my class, dont be nervous. Just try your best to express yourselves ,just to speak English loudly , right or false is not the most important, courage and confidence is the most important! Believe youll do better and better!” I think
