Student analysis学情分析2.1 Fundamental state基本情况本单元的教学应为高一下期内容,学生已通过一个学期的高中学习,理应对高中学习的要求基本明白,并已基本适应高中学习,具备高中学习的基本技能,初步掌握一些学习策略,只是经过寒假的冲击,需要重新进行学习习惯和学习策略的强化。不过,正因为学生刚过完春节返校,有的同学可能还到外地甚至国外参加了人家的节日庆祝,而本单元的

8、中心话题又是节日及庆祝活动,因此,可从学生过春节的亲身经历入手进行预热(有的进度稍慢的学校或班级也可结合教学本单元时学生就近经历的节日入手),再扩展到对其他节日的学习与介绍,为后面课时逐步引入本单元的教学活动奠定基础,这样让学生由熟悉到不熟悉,不断扩展知识和能力,从而最终实现由不熟悉到熟悉的学习体验过程。2.2 Knowledge reserve知识储备 通过高一上期的学习和积累,学生基本完成了从初中到高中的过渡,并在初中基础上扩大了词汇量,也巩固和扩展了话题项目功能和功能意念项目,特别是Book I中Friendship与Book II中Cultural relics等话题项目的学习,和Bo

9、ok I中Talking about past experiences与Book II中Talking about interests and hobbies等功能意念项目的学习,为本节课谈论节日和庆祝活动,以及从听力中去捕捉相关信息奠定了基础。 2.3 Class data本班实际本班属于年级二层次理科实验班,相对于理科平行班来说,学生基础较好,学习能力较强,但本班学生的英语水平有些参差不齐,且因为是理科班,学生在数理化生作业上的压力较大,学生课外完成英语作业的时间相对较少,加之有的学生对英语学科的重视程度不够,部分学生英语学习的自觉性还有待加强。因此,教学任务基本需要在课堂上完成(有的课前

10、预习任务都得安排在课堂开始时进行)。3. Teaching methods教法建议question and answer method问答法,task-based teaching method任务型教学法,communicative approach交际法,situational teaching approach情景教学法4. 11、.1.1 Ask Ss questions about Spring Festival, introducing the topic - festivals.5.1.2 Brainstorm as many Chinese festivals as possible, with the help of mind map on the blackboard.5.1.3 Arrange a quiz about the time of the festivals, with the help of the table of festivals on screen, paying more atte

12、ntion to the festivals celebrated according to lunar calendar.(Better arrange them into groups according to the time to celebrate it).5.1.4 Ask Ss questions about their familiar festivals, as for, what it celebrates, what people do and when it takes place, guiding the Ss to speak in complete sentenc

13、es and use the words to be learnt in this unit. 5.1.5 Discuss in groups to work out three more Chinese festivals using the form of warming-up, teacher wandering and guiding Ss to use the words to be learnt in this unit and better speak in complete sentences.Do not expect all students have the same a

14、nswers, and accept any correct information.5.2 Step II Listening -Easter5.2.1Guide Ss to read and understand the pictures, meanwhile preparing words and expressions for listening.5.2.2Listen to the tape for the first time and try to get the main idea. 5.2.3 Listen to the tape for the second time and

15、 try to get somespecific information.5.2.4 Listen to the tape for a third time and get the main ideas about Easter.5.3 Step III Listening Practice -Trinidad Carnival5.3.1 Guide Ss to talk about the pictures, meanwhile preparing words and expressions for listening.5.3.2 Listening for specific informa

16、tion -信息捕捉5.3.2.1 Read questions 1-2 for part 1 first, and then listen to the tape for the information. Take notes while listening.5.3.2.2 Check the answer and listen again to get complete comprehension.5.3.2.3 Read questions 3-5 for part 2 first, and then listen to the tape twice for the informatio
