Step 2 Revisi on Get the stude nts to report their an swers of the homework. Step 3 Warm up 1. T : Show one picture of the story The Emperor s New Clothes. 2. Ask some ques
4、tions about it. e.g. 1) Look at the picture. Do you know this story? What s the n ame of this story? S1: The Emperor s New Clothes. 2) Can you tell the story briefly? S2: Once upon a time, an emperor loved new clothes very much. Once two brothers came to the city and made a special clothes for the e
5、mperor. They asked for much gold and silk , but they kept them for themselves. They prete nded to work for a long time every day. The at last , the special clothes was OK. But nobody could see it. But No one said it un til one young boy shouted that the emperor wore nothing. Step 4 Prese ntati on 1.
6、 Prese nt the new words on the big scree n and lear n the new words together. 2. Students read and try to remember the new words : silk , emperor, underwear , gold , stupid , cheat. Step 5 Work on 1a-1d Work on 1a : 1. Ask one stude nt read words in 1a. Tell stude nts to match the words with the let
7、ters in th e pictures in 1b. 2. Let some stude nts tell their an swers. Then check together. 3. Try to remember the new words. Work on 1b : 1. Tell students to look at the pictures in 1c. Tell them these are the pictures from the story : The Emperor s New Clothes. Liste n to the tapes and nu mber th
8、e pictures. 2. Play the recording for the students. Students just listen for the first time. Play the record ing aga in and nu mber the pictures. 3. Check the an swers. Work on 1c : 1. Let stude nts read the senten ces in 1c first. Tell stude nts to liste n aga in and fill in the blanks with the rig
