Today Im going to talk aboutPEP,Grade six,Unit 3 My weekend plan,part B Read and Write.My teaching plan is divided into six pa
2、rts., analysis of teaching material, analysis ofstudents, analysis of teaching aims, key points and difficult points, analysis of teachingmethod, analysis of teaching procedure and blackboard design.I. Teaching MaterialFirstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching material. The topic in this unit
3、is myweekend plan. By study of this unit, the Ss know how to express their weekend plan andcommunicate with others by using the future tense . This unit talks about my weekendplan, which is a topic that students are familiar with, so it is easy to draw their attention toclass and make them involved.
4、n. StudentsSecondly, it is about the students. Our students are in Grade six. After learningEnglish for six years, they have some basic English background knowledge. They havealready known the future tense. It is not difficult for them to understand and use thelanguage to express their daily activit
5、ies.They are curious and interested in new things but they can not focus their attentionfor a long time, so it is important to apply interesting, innovative, and diversified teachingactivities to hold their interest and attention.So the teacher should employ experientialteaching which will help them
6、 to understand and apply the language in this class.In addition, students are active and eager to show themselves, so itd better createchances for them to communicate with others and present their ideas in front of theclass.川.Teaching AimsBased on teaching material and the new standard curriculum an
7、d syllabus, I set thefollowing teaching aims.1. language knowledgeBy the end of this lesson, students will be able to listen, read and understand the words:Mid-autumn Festival, together, get together, mooncake , poem , moon.And students will be able to Listen,read and understand the sentences:My fam
8、ily is going toMy aunt is going toMy grandma willRobin and I are going toThe students enable to understand and read the diary and know the format of the diary.2. Knowledge skillsIn addition, The students enable to retell the diary and imitate a diary. Especially, it will trainstudents cooperative le
9、arning ability.3.Moral objects1. Enable the students to love each other .2. Encourage them to cooperate in class3. Know the different holiday customs4. Learning strategiesThe students will try to grasp the chance of communication in English and learn to take an active partin the class activities.IV.
10、 Key points&Difficult pointsAmong the teaching aims, the important point is that the students enable to master the newwords and sentences and read and understand the diary.The difficult points are to enable students to retell the diary and imitate a diary.To achieve the teaching objectives, teac
11、hing aids: such as multi-media computer system,pictures, blackboard will be used. They can help students understand and use new words andexpressions by making the input lively, visible, comprehensible.V. Teaching MethodsIn addition, to better achieve the teaching objectives, to stress the important
12、points and breakthrough the difficult points, in this lesson, I will mainly use“Task-based teaching method”,“Communicative language teaching method”and“Situational teaching method and so”on. So thatit can stimulate studentsinitiative in learning, and make them fully involved in class and become ther
13、eal master of class.Interest is the best teacher. Inquiry-based learning method can stimulate students interest inlearning through problem solving and initiative in learning.W. Read and fillIn this part,I divided the whole class into 4 groups.The stude
17、 nts read the text and underline thecorrect answers.They discuss with each other about the questions.Task-based teachi ng method is used here to develop Ss ability of com muni cati on andalso their ability of co-operati on will be well train ed.3. Enjoy the poemLet the Ss listen and imitate the poem
18、. Pay attention to their pronunciation andinton atio n.Purpose: It can provide a real situati on for the Ss to un dersta nd the poem and the relati on shipsbetwee n people better. Tell the Ss we should show our loveli ness to our family members.Step 4 Post-reading1. Lets retellThe stude nts retell t
19、he text to make sure that the stude nts un dersta nd the text. Let the students watch a video and say their ideas. In this part, It can check the kno wledge stude nts have learned in this period.2. Let s writeTeachers shows some pictures of the festival to the students. Teachers and stude nts talk abouthow to write a text.The n I divid the whole class into 4 groups. The teacher guide the stude nts tomake a mind map.
