11、hall be applied. Awaiting the future modifications of product standards (lamps, luminaires and others), all the requirements, including marking provided by IEC TR 62471-2 shall be applied. For LEDs with low luminance ( 104 cd/m2) emitting only in the visible range there is no need of hazards risk cl

12、assification according to IEC/EN 62471 (see Clause 4.1). Its up to the Certification Body to accept the luminaire manufacturer declaration based on relevant tests showing that the radiation from the luminaire does not exceed the values given in IEC/EN 62471 for Exempt Group and Risk Group 1. In the

13、TRF, it is indicated that judgement is based on manufacturers declaration. But EN 60825-1:1994 is the most appropriate at the time because LEDs characteristics. After Sep.1 2010, EN 60825-1:1994 was replaced by EN 60825-1:2007. But EN 60825

15、-1:2007 has excluded LED for general lighting. EN 62471:2008 (Dop 2009-09-01; Dow 2011-09-01) From Sep.1 2010, EN 62471 is an applicable standard for LED though Dow of EN 62471:2008 is 2011-09-01.Nemko Shanghai Ltd. 上海联广认证有限公司 EN 62471 scope EN 62471:2008 (IEC 62471:2006) This International Standard
