1、Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. the topic of my lesson is 2b unit 1 farm animals. is a new teaching material. its teaching mode is building-blocks. this mode divide the book into several parts. this unit is emphasized on the farm animals. my children are the students of grade two. they have lear
2、ned something about the animals before and they also have the ability to hear most of the classroom language and use some sentence patterns to express. based on these merits of this book and the level of my students, my lesson is designed as follows:the language focus of my lesson is using nouns to
3、identify common farm animals. they are chick, hen, cock, duck, sheep, pig and cow. is emphasized on the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. in this lesson, the language skills involve two parts. to the part of listening, the students should located specific information in response to
4、 questions. to the part of speaking, the students should pronounce animals properly and use modeled phrases to communicate with other learners. the teaching materials of the lesson are a computer(use for the whole class), some animals cards, some paper and some glue.(you can find them when we do the
5、 game at the end of the lesson). I divide the teaching procedure into three parts, pre-task preparation, while-task preparation and post-task preparation. pre-task preparation is the part for children to warm up and reviewing. I arranged an English song for students to sing together and some questio
6、ns to open the free talk. then, come to the part of while-task preparation. its the part of new lesson. we will learn the new words of the farm animals and express the animals with the sentence of I see. the last procedure is post-task preparation. this task gives students a chance to consolidate th
7、e knowledge which we have learned today. we will play a game and report the answer of the game with the sentence of I seenext, I will state the teaching procedure of the lesson. first of all, its the time for activity. we will sing the hello song to start the whole class. this is a natural approach
8、to warm the class up and create the strong environment of English class. this funny English song arouse the students enthusiasm at the beginning of the lesson. after singing, we should review the old lesson. I arranged several questions we have learned before to open the daily talk.(ask and answer)
9、asking questions is a method of reviewing. it will catch the students attention quickly and let me know the degree of the holding of the last lesson. then, we will start learning the new lesson. I will use the pictures and questions to introduce the new words one by one. (introduce and learn) after
10、learning dispersedly, we should put the words together and imitate the correct sound. because my students are all the students of grade two. they are still very young. we will play a game to consolidate the new words. (this game is move the card to the correct place. I will invite the students come
11、to the front and choose the card which he/she like. and then use the mouse to move the card below the correct picture. if its right, the animal will make some sound and the happy face will appear beside the picture. if its wrong, nothing will happen. ) through this game, all of the students can reme
12、mber these words at once. before this class, we have learned using the simple sentences to express seeing. that is what do you see? in order to combine the sentence and the animals which we have learned today, we should have some practicing. I have arranged some other animals. if you know what it is
13、, you can use the sentence I see to tell us the answer. (ask and answer) these lovely pictures encourage the students to think hard and almost all the students want to say something. finally, I prepared a remember game to make all the students spin their mind and move their body. everybody can get a
14、 piece of paper and some paper animals. firstly, I will show some animals on the screen only several seconds. remember, only several seconds. the students should put them in their mind as fast as they can. then, I hide them. the students should stick the animals which they saw before on the paper with glue very fast. after sticking, tell us what he/she saw before.(e.g. I see a duck, a pig, a cow and a cock.) in the end, the one who get the right answer and use the shortest time for sticking who will be the winner. through this game, the students made good use of the nouns and
