Lead-in ;Greet the students and introduce the learning

4、 task of this class . Practice the small conversations to warm up before the class. Step2. Presentation:Show the flashcard and practice the conversations about ordering the food learned in SectionA;1. -What kind of noodles would you like ? - Id like beef and tomato noodles. 2. -What size bowl of noo

5、dles would you like ?-I would like a small bowl of noodles;- How much is the small bowl of beef noodles? -Its 6 dollars With the conversations, conclude the sentences about different kinds of food, prices and different sizes in talking about the food;Step3. Practice;Ask the students use the owner of

6、 the restaurant as the subjects to introduce the food and prices to the readers; They can use the sentences pattern with the help of the flashcard :Flashcard 9: Welcome to our restaurant and we have many different specials for you . They are Flashcard10: We also have different drinks for you. They a

Consolidation: When the students finish the oral practices about introducing the food and prices to the readers ,ask them to finish the Activity 3a on the textbook; After they finish the text, ask someone to say out the answers ; Step 5. Conclusion: Show the flashcard to the students and

8、ask them to finish Part1 in Self-check , conclude the different words about food , fruit , vegetable, meat and others. The teacher can ask some students to watch the flashcard and say out the names while the others are writing down them on the textbook.Step6. Comprehensive PracticeShow the flashcard

9、 of different dishes and ask the students to write an advertisement for an owner of a restaurant in ten minutes. The teacher walk around the classroom and check the sentences on the students exercise books. When the students finish the 100-words advertisements, ask them to read out the works in front of the class. The teacher and students should applaud for their courage and self-confidence. Step7.
